My recommendation would be to always go for job, ALWAYS. The chances of succeeding after getting a job are significantly higher than the chances of succeeding after doing a master's or a PhD. I have a PhD and all my friends who did not even do a master's are earning twice as much. Also if you are planning on doing a master's in anything other than computer science or telecommunications then you are wasting your time. Your time would be better spent learning coding or getting coding certificates than spending time in master's of civil or mechanical or electrical or one of these branches which have very limited job prospects in India.
My suggestion is to go for jobs and even if after 3-4 years you have the passion and wish for further research, then only go for PhD. My professor suggested me this during my MTech days.

You will be able to sit for many companies, core from "chemical engineering" As well as non core.

I think you should only aim for the job for the start. Landing in a product based company can manifest in any coming years.
