Disney Silver at Sea Cruise / Port of Nassau, Star Wars Lounge, PIRATE NIGHT, Fireworks (Day 3)!

- Join us for day 3 aboard the Disney Wish for the very first Disney Cruise Line Silver Anniversary at Sea Sailing - featuring a visit to Nassau, Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, Pirate Night, Fireworks and SO MUCH MORE!! Today we are at the Nassau Port in the Bahamas and tonight is PIRATE NIGHT with fireworks at sea, something unique to Disney Cruise Line! I am bringing you along with us as we are in full vacation mode, taking a stroll around the Nassau port, checking out the ongoing construction there and taking in some beautiful views! We also visit Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, a very cool Star Wars themed bar onboard the ship, and have some specialty drinks! We get to watch our ship as well as a Carnival ship sail away next to us, which is always super cool to watch, we get lucky and get to hear the ship's horn play those beautiful Disney tunes we love so much, of course watch Muppets Treasure Island, and have a fantastic pirate night featuring Mickeys Pirates in the Caribbean Show, special pirate night dinner at 1923, Pirate's Rockin' Parlay Party featuring Captain Redd and CAptain Jack Sparrow, and see a spectacular fireworks at sea - sparkling treasure in the sky, and dance parties galore! Of course I show you views of the ship, the ocean, the sunset and more! Jackie! I was in Nassau the same day as you! I was on the Independence of the Seas on the other side of the Wish! 😁 I was so excited that I got to hear the Disney horns as my ship was sailing out! Great Video as always!

Those ships are massive. I like seeing the outside of them at dock. Not sure if I'd enjoy the pirate night as they seem just a little cheesy to me, but maybe it'd feel different if I was there in person. The sunset and fireworks were cool. Like the towel sculptures by room service.
Your videos continually get better and better. We didn't even think that was possible. You and Sam lit up the screen. We love to watch you and Sam cut loose and dance. I'm cruising to nassua soon and I wasn't sure what to do because I don't want to spend a ton in port. (We're going to disney world in 10 months) you made it look so easy. Just get off the ship walk around until you get hungry. Go back on the ship to eat and enjoy! Thanks!

We are loving this series! We sail on the Wish in March so this is giving us plenty of ideas. One thing that might help...While I know itineraries can change, it might be helpful if you announce a time of day just once in a while for the big things you are doing. For example, when did you get off of the ship in Nassau and return? What time was the first and second Pirate parties? We have 7 and 10 yo girls and might help us prioritize some activities. We stopped at the small bar that is on the water next to Señor Frogs. A drink and to the world famous straw market. The Wish looks nice. 😊

Can you give us an idea of the different WiFi package prices please; Jackie! Absolutely loving the Silver Sailings festivities. I just wish the celebration could go beyond the summer. It was a big deal when Disney became the first cruise line to set off fireworks at sea. This is because they could potentially be mistaken for a distress signal. I am sure the bridge crew spends quite a bit of time on the VHF prior to the show letting all mariners know that the pyrotechnics are only a show. Also, Disney had to get special approval for their yellow lifeboats as at the time all lifeboats had to be International Orange.
As the TH-cam experts I have a question. I’m waiting to marathon these start to finish. Does that help or hurt in the algorithm? What helps the channel more a quick click and watch or extended time online? I want to be a good Team Expedition Enthused team member :)
We didn't go into Nassau proper on this day, but we did the sea lion encounter at Blue Lagoon and, and it was so, so fun.
