Ok so I watched your video. You convinced me to buy the hair stuff. I tried. MY LIFE IS CHANGED FOREVER!! thank you so much. The shampoo and conditioner is sooooo nice.
Some toothbrushing options. They make toothpaste powder. They also make toothpaste pellets. You can also use plain baking soda cheap, effective, and available world wide. I also enjoy making my own toothpaste. Baking soda (deodorizes and scrubs the teeth) and coconut oil (disinfects the mouth). Usually it's 50\50 but I would make it way more dough like using more baking soda than oil so it holds up better in the heat. You might also find use for a contact lens case with screw top lids for tiny amounts of products. Those little cases hold about a teaspoon in each chamber and color coded lids! So it's a tiny solution for....Neosporin and itch cream. Or a bit of eye serum and lip balm. Etc.
You can use a vegetable peeler to shave off some peels for traveling, Instead of taking the whole heavy bar. Just put it in ziploc bag. One less heavy item.
I'm going backpacking next year and I was trying to find anything on taking solid toiletries and couldn't find anything and then this showed up a few days later in my recommendations 🙌🙌🙌
will be travelling long haul via emirates economy later this year, and my golly! this will be the first time in my life that i'll be travelling with just one carryon. they have even indicated that personal blankets and pillows count toward the carryon limit. i'm finding that even bars can weigh that much when you're having to travel with just one carryon with a 10# limit. i'm having to rethink a lot of the things i'm packing in that lone carryon, including having to shift to SHEETS and POWDERS of toiletries e.g. soap sheets, shampoo sheets, deodorant wipes, toothpaste powders etc. i'm even having to buy a different carryon bag that weighs almost nothing just so i can beat that 10# limit
Cereve makes a facial soap to use in their skin care line that was designed by dermatologists. It can replace their soap in a plastic bottle. When I travel, I use Lush shampoo for my face. I made bar lotion myself that’s great but it can melt. I’m on a quest to reduce plastic in my life. 😊
Thanks for the video. You made me miss travelling so much 😥 i didn't know that the body shop cleansing butter would count as solid, I'm using it now at home and I love it. Tip: you should add a little bit of water once it is on your face to make an emulsion. Then you don't need to rub it off with a towel :)
Are the tins TSA approved? Traveling to Poland this summer and want to bring my shampoo bar but can't find anything that says if the tins are allowed in a carry-on.
Tins are fine in a carry on, I would recommend letting a TSA agent know they are in your bag, sometimes things look weird on their screen when it goes through the x-ray machine. I Had some tins of spices in my carry on on a domestic flight and was told I should pull them out of the bag to scan separately because they usually register as a suspicious bright green on the x-ray!

The cleansing butter looks so perfect 😳 I’ll definitely try it out
Soap holder mesh also doubles as a bath sponge and leys soap dry haning too
I didn’t realize there was so many solid toiletries out there🤯

You can use laundry detergent solid sheets instead of liquid for travel. I use Earth Breeze-no big plastic detergent bottles !

Made my Lush list as you spoke. They should sponsor you!! Cheers
Fantastic videos, thank you and all the best 🍀❤️
Lush powder toothpaste in a small tub is also really good.
Love this! Thank you for sharing!

Yeah, I never had any issues with them! They don't hold liquids so I can't see them having an issue with them

They sell the tins at lush but I use zip lock baggies for travel. I wish I’d skipped the tin and used a plastic box.
Gonna try the solid shamoo
This is amazing thanks so much!!!
