Their main outfits are cool, but altogether not my favourites (they look a little outdated to me). Every single fashion pack look is fire though. Autumn's is sooo cute, it very french to me for some reason. Also Londynn is so gorgeous as a base doll. Her in the fashion pack outfit is my favourite as a whole for sure. This line has a lot of potential in my opinion. Thank you for the detailed review.
I think these dolls appeal more to adults than to kids. I'm watching this video ith my daughter, a huge Violet Willow fan, and she does not like the colours of the dolls' clothes at all.
I agree. It seems like they are going after the teen/adult market. I'm not sure that is a big enough market to sustain a line, but I can't see a kid choosing these over Rainbow High or Monster High. Also, the price is high for the kids' market.
Harper is so pretty. I hope they have plans to do boy dolls as well. They could really show other companies that boys can have fashion pieces too.

The set up for the launch party was so thoughtfully done ! I love the way they set up the dolls on the wall and the recreations of the clothing& accessories.. so so cool 🥺

Brook's skirt was a stand out part for me, so I share the disappointment that i was attached to the top. Otherwise I'm happy to see people warming up to these and more positive reviews (literally so tired of reading 'the outfits look dated' comments; they look like a mish-mash of a lot of ideas and more design-studenty to me, but in general I am beyond tired of people ragging on 'dated fashion' like its a crime and not entirely subjective and made up), definitely want to see what else they do

The human fashions are amazing, I hope they will be available to buy, and the wall of dolls in frames is brilliant! Reminds me of the Y2K era of dolls with their quality until Rainbow High and L.O.L/OMG.
The box that the dolls come in look like a fancy store display, reminds me of the movie "Mannequin".

Fashion-wise, I like Brooke and Harper the best. Doll-wise, Brooke and Londynn are my favorites. In other words: I need at least Brooke! 😉

I'm looking forward to these. Harper is my favorite. I like their faces and the outfits.
Not for me, but I appreciate 1) the attempt to bring back fashion to playline, and 2) their smaller size, and 3) stands. Unfortunately, beyond that I don't like their faces and the fashions to me are a bit of an unpleasant hodgepodge. I saw them in person earlier this week at Walmart so my impression is from that.
Personally, I would've preferred if their heads would've been smaller in proportion to their bodies. I don't mind the unpainted accessories (much better than poorly aligned paint, imo) but it would've been great to see several smaller necklaces and bracelets instead of big pieces sculpted to give the idea of many. I also don't understand how the heart theme and name of the brand fit with the fashion styles. One part seems too cutesy for fashion students, while the other is quite mature. I'm not sure how kids will perceive that either... It's just my opinion, though, and I might still adopt some of these dolls. The price might be an issue, though.
First thought when I saw Harper: she's Jasmine. Same face, colors, and even a pony. Am I wrong?
This event looked like a blast, love that they had 'real' human sized versions of the outfits to show! I like these, but I think I'd wait until they maybe either price down a little bit or rethink those chunky 'gold' accessories- I get what they were going for, but for me they cheapen the dolls like everything else is such high quality! Love how in-depth your reviews are, your vids keeps me company when I'm crafting and I usually watch a video or two before bed as well, dolls and ponies are my happy space so I really appreciate how often you post content ❤
These are very cool I just wish they were bigger so that I could steal there clothes for my Barbies :D I saw them at my Walmart yesterday.
I think the material used on Brooke's outfits is a PU leather. It is a synthetic leather and can come in a thin scale which is good on dolls. I only know this Because of Moonlight Jewel uses something very similar in her customs and thats what i have heard her call it.
Totally didn’t pick up the fashion packs for my bratz dolls… what no that sooo wasn’t me 😏 lol. BTW Jade looks amazing in Brookes green outfit 😂

I love the packaging and the fashions but the base dolls are not for me.
First off I love you Brooke for including the Licca friend doll for the fashion pack, I was super curious if it would fit, especially the shoes. BTW that particular friend's name is Pururun-chan🥰

I found these at my local Walmart yesterday and I grabbed them and their fashion packs and ran to the register they are sooo pretty and high quality clothes already wanting more either it be more fashion packs or dolls
The faces are extremely hit and miss for me, but I’m glad I keep hearing from everyone that the clothes are very well constructed, and I’m happy to see fashion packs. I’m curious how I’ll feel when I see them in person in stores.
Not interested in this doll line whatsoever. The fashion doesn’t come near the former RH and SH fashion 😩. Sorry just don’t like them, they look so random.
Right!!! 😂 there's just something that doesn't fully connect for me! I can see some slight inspiration from the Disney ILY dolls. Their face molds are diverse but they're nothing new, innovative, or different. The "fashions" are interesting. 😅 I think they could keep the style of the outfits but use more cohesive colors and patterns. They also remind me of a few Asian market fashion dolls. It's just ALOT of stuff to put into one line. Maybe series 2 will be a little better? 🤷🏻♂️

@@ClarkyWarky Their faces look like ILY to me too. I also just don't understand why they made Autumn's sleeve blue when they good have made it orange - it then would have looked like a monarch butterfly wing and matched the wings in the print, creating thematic and colour/print cohesion.

The fact that i love the fashion packs so much moooore than the main looks is an attack on my wallet tbh ahha
I feel like these might fill the fashion-focused/forward gap that the revamping of Rainbow High is leaving.
I am so getting Autumn to make a custom. Really would have liked a more gingery or freckled doll in the line, too. Hopefully in a future release.
I was trying to reserve judgement until the end of the video, but it's going to take me awhile to watch the whole thing (about 40 minutes left).
I love the packaging. The presentation in these is amazing! And the dolls all have pretty faces.
Harper is the clear winner for me: I'm biased towards her aesthetic, but I also find her outfits the most cohesive and (at least in the case of her og outfit) the most well-constructed. I really liked Brooke's outfit until I saw all the lining at the faux pocket and in the hem. I'm very picky about my clothing (whether on me or my dolls), and once I see something like that, I can't unsee it.
I really like the individual pieces in Autumn's outfit, but don't like it as a whole. Good to know it can be taken apart though.
Edit: I liked all the fashion packs except Autumn's. All three are really cohesive and inventive.

it seems like there were a lot of little tradeoffs to get the features they wanted at the price point. would definitely sacrifice a little bit of velcro and paint for overall better materials and details like the tied bows.
The same amount of Velcro could cover two clothing items

Shoes could make fit ILY but no way with Disney Princess. I’m not sure on naturalistas. But compare those dolls to OMG, OMG feet are perfect.

Grabbing those fashion packs first chance I get. Ignoring the dolls though, their looks just didn’t work for me.
I am sorry but Harper's outfits kinda screams Disney bounding to me. Her first out screams little mermaid like a modern version of the Kiss the girl scene dress especially with the purple purse. The second outfit screams Isabella from Encanto. But that could just be me. I still love the outfits but they kinda look like a higher quality ILY 4 ever outfit.
Brooke is definitely my favorite out of all four dolls. Her style is something I would wear myself!

Hmm not feeling these dolls really, the faces remind me of ily Disney dolls, but a lil worse and the outfits have too much going on for me, but ik collectors are mad at RH for making gimmick lines for kids atm so they might like these since they are mainly fashion but an adult focus doll line isn't easy to sustain mainly because it's costly e.g integrity toys but we shall see.
