    This is the REALEST freaking video I’ve EVER seen on entrepreneurship!!!... I’m a bald head former heroin addict and ex-con... been selling thrift items on eBay for the last few years... it’s been my life long dream however to start an e-commerce business.... Once I found this channel, I felt like God ordained it!!... Sooooooo much free game from Noah...I pray him much success and grandiosity.... May he continue to bless us with REAL knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurship!! Peace and love coming from East Baltimore!!.💪🏾✊🏾

    Spot on! Thanks for mentioning me in the video (The Mobberley Ice Cream Company)...was blown away! LOL. It's been two months and I still have no business cards, no website, no business email, no flyers...but I have paying (and repeat) customers....who we now call The Ice Cream Mob. Thanks again Noah.

    Hi Noah, just an update. (and Ive been contacted by people who saw our ice cream business on your video!...pretty amazing)
    We signed up for a local market which we did on this past Saturday; cost us 25 GBP (about 33 USD in your money)
    I didnt even bring any ice cream tubs to sell...Brought some ice cream to sample, gave out (really small) samples...then took orders, told them they'd be ready within a week or so.
    550 GBP in orders (approx 735 USD), all paid in either cash or card.
    Woo hoo!
    (the next day we did the same thing, but at a local farmers market we go to....this one was only three hours, from 10 AM to 1 PM...not exactly prime ice cream time in the morning, right? Did 320 GBP (425 USD)
    All you need is a gazebo (I went on Facebook and borrowed a gazebo the first event I did, so no need to even buy one), some samples to pass out...and an order pad/notebook.
    anyway, just a thought for those wondering how to start/get customers
    Hope you are well

    I've made nearly all these mistakes myself. I struggle with number 7 the most. I've bought so many courses and masterminds in the last 3 years. Over the last few months, I've committed to doing more than learning and am now making over 10K per month now.

    Wow this literally was one of the best videos Noah did on the topic!! I love when you get straight to the point. Question though? Is even 100 days really enough to judge your idea. It seems to me if you don't continue working on the idea it just doesn't work so I feel like there's gotta be a better metric than just time. What is a better way to judge if the idea is worth pursuing when probably many things will work if it's valuable enough and you actually put all the pieces together

    • @noahkagan
      @noahkagan  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The law of 100 is meant to help you build momentum. It's really helpful for those who can't seem to stick to one idea and keep starting over. No matter what happens you have to keep going, after 100 days you can reevaluate whether the idea is still worth working on. 100 days isn't that much time in the grand scheme of things.

    The 100 days is a great idea. It can give you a goal to work towards and at least some type of timeline. I've been building my 'side hustle' (well one of them) websites for 3 weeks now because there is no actual plan. It's a really good way to help get over that hump and see if it's a viable, fun business idea.

    I first met Noah back in 2012. Thanks to his guidance and appsumo I launched a company offering my services and brought in $1600 In monthly revenue pre Covid. Post Covid, and a Cancer diagnosis later, I'm still able to grow my skillset, have a nice cushion of cash to help cover medical expenses, and started advising a small business account n exchange for equity. This man is the truth and I owe a lot of my success to him.

    • @noahkagan
      @noahkagan  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm sorry to hear about the diagnosis man. So glad to hear I played a small part in your entrepreneurial journey! What services do you offer? Do you have a website? I'd like to shout you out in one of my up coming videos.

      @@noahkagan I started The Askari Group. A consultancy focused on brand development and creative strategies for small businesses. Kinda like an executive for rent. Most of my business is by referral, but the knowledge and tools I got from Appsumo are part of the reason I was able to stop living paycheck to paycheck.

    I should try and go out and get customers and stop taking courses. I was trying to get as much informtion and new skills as possible so that I could try and find a niche that I am comfortable with in Digital Marketing. I spend more time reading and watching videos than doing any action. However, I have some concerns over trying to put myself out there to work in a new field when all I have are some courses and no actual experience.
    Any tips on how to move forward?

    great advice, Noah I do have a question - and likely an answer at least in my opinion - do you think this applies to someone inside of an org. that is trying to sell their ideas? If not, what would you emphasize or change from your advice?
