Did you get any responce if it works on apple tv 4k, I followed the process in my ATV 4k and all I get is the led blinking but not image.
CMSGraham Sorry if you’ve done these already but have to ask. Did you disconnect & eliminate the 120v DC connection before you used a 12v adapter? Are you saying that you’ve tried using a 12v adapter & all you get is a blinking white LED but doesn’t startup into the ATV menu?
I’m not trying that with mine apple products are to expensive to do what he just did
