I'd have loved for you to explain why does Jesus' statement about a particular circumstance (samaritans coming to Jesus because of the woman's testimony) apply to our particular context, today. Thanks.
It's a wonderful story. Here are some present day applications....in my opinion. The Samaritan woman had a failed personal life, yet Jesus loved, her, treated her with respect, and revealed Himself to her as the Messiah. People with "failed lives" are not excluded by Jesus, but they are loved by Him She had incorrect theology about how to worship God, but Jesus both corrected her and loved her. Her wrong theology didn't put her out of the reach of Jesus. The same is true today. Jesus loves people that have a huge misunderstanding of who he is. I hope that this helps. Blessings!
