*ABSOLUTELY STUNNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had no idea Thomas was touring! And I have followed Thomas since 1983! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS INCREDIBLE SURPRISE!*
Thank you so much for this! I had tickets for the show in Phoenix that TD had to cancel. Tom Bailey did extra songs to fill the time, and as much as I love him, I was really looking forward to seeing Thomas Dolby!
@@MRDL236123 damn, that really sucks… I had tickets for the Steely Dan shows in Miami back in 2021 and all those were canceled as well, I know the feeling haha but Dolby is one of my other favorite artists and this one the first time I saw him live so there’s no way I could’ve not recorded it all. Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for this. Saw him couple weeks ago at an 80'/90s festival. He was the closing act, and only had about a half hour. Got only 5 of the pieces here. Thank goodness this included Europa, Submarines, Heroes, and Blinded Me with Science. Great to now have more. Saw the Thompson twin, singular, too. Both he and Dolby were the two acts that could have sustained their own full length show. Sadly, the Tubes and Fee Waybill had not aged so well. Modern English and Men Without Hats were also hanging in well, but not as good as Dolby and Tom. Thanks.
Yeah this show was just Tom Bailey and Dolby, so I knew it would be a little longer. That being said I do wish Dolby played more songs, as he still only played 8 (two of them being covers) but I enjoyed the show nonetheless!
I just saw him in Oakland on June 30th. He was the headliner at Totally Tubular. The bands just kept getting louder and louder until it was just noise and echo. He gave this show, more or less, but unfortunately the acoustics were terrible.
@@revyu6754 that’s terrible, sorry to hear. I hope he does his own solo tour again maybe next year. I’m hoping the weight loss / new hair / excited fans combination makes him more inclined to keep touring
A genious to find notes, melody, sons for himself and Prefab sprout in the 80's.. and still alive for joy..
So glad to see him so alive and kicking!
I think that he is really good at live tours, he should do it more often, and full sets that last about 3 hours. Hahahahahahaha 😂!!!
His homage to Bowie is so beautiful. We miss you badly, Starman.
Hey. I was there in front of his keyboards at the rail. Thanks for saving this memory! He never disappoints.
Wow, we all get old but he can still sing and play. I remember the first time I saw him on MTV.

Was at this show. Dolby was amazing. I could have listened to his remixes all night. Thanks for sharing!
@@queennewwave3867 glad you liked it! We might’ve got to see the best set in the entire tour (given I love you goodbye was a rare exception)
thank you!!!!!!
Cool version of The Gap!
