I'm really happy with my HS21, I upgraded the headband for an orange reflective Acebeam one for only about $3 on Aliexpress, makes it even nicer! A 4000 mah Liitokala inside and I'm set for a very long dog walk. I just got a SR12 to go with it - a nice tiny 18650 throwy EDC with a vicious Strobe mode to make sure nobody misses me when crossing busy roads with my dogs! It's not mega powerful, but it's good for a couple of hundred meters and is more maneuverable in my hand than on my head.
Your vid seemed to end before you intended. I was considering the same two before settling on the HS21, which does a good job of illuminating the suburban roads on which I do my hour plus long jogs. Medium spot provides all the lighting I need, except for exceptional situations where I may briefly bump it up to High or Turbo. The HS21’s red light option is also quite effective, providing ample illumination in my proximity without the stark white light or when a lot of flood or throw aren’t required. As you commented, the HS21’S rotary system for selecting between lighting options is effective and easy to use. There are rare occasions where I would prefer even more light than the HS21 provides at its maximum settings. Most of the time, it’s an excellent choice for my needs and at a relatively bargain price.
I was sleep deprived and thought I'd better end it before I start talking in circles 😂 I use the HS21 for most purposes as it's lighter, and incredible throw. It doesn't claim to be anything it's not. The imalent has superior build quality though, just a shame it doesn't have brighter 'auxillary' lights.
For a longer trip I'd take the HT70. Otherwise I'd go the HS21. I like the rotary switch and extra brightness on flood mode. Use that when riding my scooter.
I wouldn't ever buy anything from Imalent again. Their customer service is horrible (twice now). You need to send them videos first before they will give you an RMA number (which I realize isn't all that bad), but once you send them a return, they dont log it in when it arrives. Seems they do nothing until you follow up with them, and provide them a tracking number. No tracking number, no replacement/repair. Even showing them shipping details that UPS delivered it to them is not sufficient for them to say they received it. So, whatever shipper you use, if you have to pay extra for tracking, do so, or otherwise throw your money away. And, two samples of the same light died, once within 1 day, and the other after a few months. Customer service in the US was abysmal both times. I currently have no working Imalent lights.

If they put a bit more effort into the headband, it'd be perfect. I also don't use that motion sensor on the RHS, forgot to mention.
