Rachel and Chandler should have hooked up here so we could have avoided the whole toxic Ross/Rachel mess. Would have been nice to have someone not white as a main cast member too.
@@trevorvisions Visual difference. We have 6 main characters and all 3 guys look pretty similar at a glance. At least courtney has a different hair colour from the other girls. But my own personal preference would have been to have a few more romantic interests who aren't white. I don't think every story needs diversity and I'm not suggesting the main 6 needed to be changed. But I would have liked to see some of the recurring cast for some of the seasons have more visual diversity. New York has a lot of diversity, I would have liked to see the cast all have a few more acquintances outside the main friend group and would have enjoyed some of them being people of colour.
@@kyleellis1825 That's fine, but sometimes precisely the lack of diversity is a good thing . I mean, it's okay if the cast of a show or movie focuses on one group, because it gives us the opportunity to have various types of products. For example, Bad Boys is not the same as Tango & Cash or Lethal Weapon. But if you go full captain planet with the cast, like Netflix or put people like Mindy(from the office) for diversity, what you end up with is a soulless product that doesn't represent anyone and even feels a bit offensive to those who try to represent.
@@trevorvisions I don't want to change up the main 6. The show was about the writers experiences and that's why it worked. But in 234 episodes, we had Julie in 7 of them and Charlie is in 9. That's only 16 episodes. We had at least 20 stinkers (especially in the later seasons.) Would have been nice to swap out some of the not as good episodes for some different episodes that had a character of colour reoccur a few times. That still leaves us with 200 episodes (We just cut off the 34 worst episodes). unchanged.
@@kyleellis1825 Well, you may be right, personally I don't usually pay attention to diversity within a program. But when I do it is in a negative way because I feel that they are used as a token, without taking into account the context or the narrative itself.
But why was Monica so excited to know about her brother’s kiss 😂
Haha I know eh
She was happy for Rachel
She was excited about Rachel's kiss
I was hoping it was long enough to hear Phoebe's song.
"He must decide, he must decide..."
It was her first Kiss too.
Mystery Midnight Kisser
Remember She was the pile of coats
2:21 julie acts in an episode of monk where she owns a laundry.
😊
