The whole Valentine thing is a bit tricky in Japan, where I’m living. On Valentine’s Day women give chocolate as a present to their partner or crush, but also to male friends. Men give presents to women one month later on 3/14, this day is called White Day. The romantic dinner day for couples is neither Valentine’s Day nor White Day, but 12/24!
Valentines Days is like Mother’s Day for childless mothers. Single awareness day. Must be lovely for widowers and people that recently broke up, like salt in the wounds. Flowers, cards and chocolates are always quite lovely though.
It’s a great episode, thank you! I happen to have been born on Valentine’s Day, so this year me and my partner are combining our vacation in Portugal with my birthday celebration. I’m pretty positive it’s going to be very romantic and special☺️
An engaging video! Absolutely loved it! Brighton does sound romantic, but doesn't seem like a cliche. I would really look forward to what's the take on this topic by Easy french and the French people! 😅
Greetings from Ukraine! I like your videos so much ! It’s interesting for me to find out more about British mentality and thoughts . And in addition to this , thanks to you, I am improving my English skills !👍🏻👍🏻🥰
I never celebrated Valentine's Day - in my opinion it's too commercial. When my husband and I want to go to a restaurant we do it whenever we like. But I think that's also because Valentine's Day doesn't have a very long tradition here in Germany. Give it another 10 years and things will look differently ... BTW I really liked how the wave "washed away" the title in the beginning. ;)

If I had a girlfriend, I would go outside to a restaurant or something.
Nevertheless, have a wonderfull Valentine's Day, everybody.
