- Today I play the NEW Update to Baldi's Basics. This time, it's all visual changes and needed additions. This game is falling into place stylistically and it's amazing. The new inventory system is amazing. Along with changes to YTP and Johnny's shop. THERE'S ALSO A BALDI SCREEN THAT COMES DOWN, IT LOOKS SO COOL.

fun fact: in endless mode Johnny's store will be there but it only opens when you get a certain amount of notebooks but if you get a dangerous teleporter or a portal poster you can beak into Johnny's store and teal his items but when you steal them baldi gets angrier and faster and if the principle catches you doing it he will send you to detention and a red light and a alarm will also be going off in the store
You can also get in via First Prize ramming into the glass door. It's much harder to do however.

Edit 1: you can buy items *if* you are 100 ytps short, so you can buy the map on the first floor
Edit 2: You can unlock the doors locked by Chalkes and Ms. Pomp pre 0.6
Edit 3: You can rob Johnny on endless :)

yeah, but robbing the store causes the alarms to turn on and baldi goes there, and if principal sees you there he says to not enter school faculty only rooms and puts you in detention

It's kinda hard to understand from only playing but on the changelog i saw that wd no squee was changed to be the sound version of the dusty chalk eraser, a large area of sparkles is formed and any sounds within that area wont alert baldi to that location. Pretty big to the meta to silence yellow doors and multiple doors with one item

It also lasts 5 minutes and silences *anything* apparently, not sure if the latter is true but that's huge if it is.
@@exterminator9676I think it is true, and not only that, it also spans 5 tiles during the duration, which seems pretty big imo

i know, its weird that gray didnt know that because hes much better than me at baldibasic
Two things. First, what if there was a way to interact with Johnny at his store to have the old UI, sorta like how you can still get gum and stuff at the counter for most stores. Second, I think the TV screen in the elevator would make sense in a future update for a story mode or something, it can inform you of future hazards and stuff like a boiler room that's always leaking.
I swear Baldi appearing the TV reminds me so much like Pizza Tower lmao 😂

*Here are some things I found about the update while playing:*
The Regular BSODA can spawn in party’s
You can rob Jonny and an alarm will go off, along with that Baldi will attack you.
BSODA Rarity has seemed to gone pretty low and is a 1/2 chance of finding it in-game.
There are new sparkles. And you can activate them by using WD No-squee while in detention.
The Diet BSODA seems to last around 3 - 5 seconds and works on characters like 1st prize or Gotta Sweep when they move.
You have a higher chance of getting the BSODA on the second and third floor than the first.
The green locker alerts baldi when opened or closed
And Playtime seems to spawn a lot more often.
Didn’t read any of the patch notes, I just found this in Endless mode and Hide & Seek
diet bsoda lasts 3 seconds and green lockers only alert baldi when it closes
BSOSA could already spawn in the party event before this update

It shows the original price, 400, crossed out - then it shows the new discounted price as 240.

I think that can be a hint of something sketchy from Johnny’s lore, not sure what this was done for but I find this detail interesting

Hello that's a super cool update!
Baldi in the tv looks like he’s bout to say”come out, i wont jump you”
Principal key is use to unlock any locked door, liked from chalkes, mrs pomp, and principal
The new screen is just the screen that baldi talks in when an event happens. i was working on a texture pack for the game. and i saw the old screen (in the elevator) because i had made the screen very poorly. so yea he kinda just overlayed the new screen over the old one.
Personally, I love the 6.0 update. It adds so many cool things and features. The only thing im not happy of is the removal of the bell that says what event is happening, but im sure ill get used to it

Thing with principal keys was for a long time.
You can unlock the door locked by principal, Mrs pomp and chalkles
It’s the little things that really bring something together, and this update has a lot of little things.

The Diet BSoda is literally the BSoda but nerfed.
That’s the same with all diet drinks
I hope we get an update to Baldi's Basics Classic Remastered where they add all the new stuff from Plus that would fit into that game.
Here is a list: The new BSODA graphic, the new Zesty bar sound, the mechanic where Principal knocks on the faculty room doors, the new movement system for the math machine balloons, the principal door and the fan in the principals office, the notebook icon, the animation for picking up items and them entering in your inventory, the sound effects for picking up items, and Baldi appearing on a screen after collecting all the notebooks.
Now, i haven't been up to date with most of this stuff, but i wonder when some L O R E is going to be added.

they should add an "classic mode", nothing much changes, but it will only have the old baldi's basics items, sprites, and Johnny's shop would be back at the elevator (no sound effects, extra animations, the pit and those things too.)

and snitches to the principle that you hid in there plus alerting baldi
a little extra: has a chance to give baldi one of the items in your locker like an energy bar make him twice as fast for 5-10 seconds

Regular BSODA was way too common and way too strong for how common it was

It's generally just as common as regular BSODA was before the update. And yeah like Graysland said, BSODA's still better since it works down long hallways
@@Healion123 I agree with that, but because they're so rare I normally don't use them until floor 3 and long hallways aren't that common
