    I had to drill and tap a new spot a little bit closer to the rear sprocket. The trick is to drill and tap all the way through and put locking nut on the other side. I'll post it on monday if you want to check it out. Im running the electro heavy spring and it works like butter.

      That’s AWESOME. Maybe someday soon somebody will REALLY get this fixed up for us. It’s hugely important. This will have to do for now. I recently have been cutting the zip ties with some ends still left. Just in case I have to grab it to make tighter and In case of a zip slip.💯🙏🍻

    So the way I've done it is get small skinny zip ties and go through the tensioner chain gaurd and into the little hole from the factory chain plastic guard. Holds the tensioner tight and up

      Nice Bro. I did my original idea with skinny zip ties and it snapped within a few days. I switched to the monster and it’s been strong for weeks. I do leave a little excess tab on the zip tie in case I have to pull it tighter and to prevent any slip. But Someone needs to design a TRUE plug N Play Chain tensioner.💯🙏🍻

    Electro & Co has the upgraded spring for the chain tensioner.

      They do. And I mention that. It’s mainly when you upgrade your chain to t8f. The heavier chain is harder on the springs. With how many gear changes I do, this becomes a problem. This was with a brand new E&C spring. Just showing what I do.💯🙏🍻

    Its not just the spring its also the chain, been dealing with these kind of issues all year.. these t8f chains are made from junk to be honest and stretch really easy and even cause cogging problems

      I dont have razors but i got two diy builds which one uses a tensioner and the other doesnt... doesnt really matter, the chain is junk quality

    Look for what is called a half link. That should fix the tightness, when taking the link out.

      Appreciate the knowledge. I have heard of a half link but never ended scooping any. I have since moved on to the E&C extended swingarm & chain tensioner. It’s buttery smooth. Don’t think I could ever go back to that chain tensioner.💯🙏🍻

    How Long is the Tf8 chain

    • @KruseNStuff
      @KruseNStuff  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All depends on your gearing. My RSF650 is geared at 9/54 currently. Or 6. I’m using 100 links💯🍻

      If you have the MX or SX edition 650s, you want the E&C extended swingarm and chain tensioner. It is a GAME CHANGER. The best thing going.💯🍻www.electroandcompany.com/product-page/razor-mx-sx-extended-swing-arm
