Don't mislead people. Effective clocking speed is below 20 kHz for most optical transceivers, because they based on EEPROM family such as 24C02, or have MCU with software slave I2C controller which unsupport high speed rate of write operations through the databus. You will get NACK or write will be failed if the speed rate will be so high as specified on datasheets: up to 400 kHz.
That means you can't search password with speed of thouthands new values per seconds. To get result you have to write a new password, then do write changes in value of minimal sequense size, then read a code for compare to be sure the write with new password is completed succesufully. That cuts speedrate up to tens values per second.

It's true only for old type SFPs, but nowadays most transceivers are MCU based and are much faster. They do not have EEPROM, they have FLASH or FRAM which are only emulating EEPROM on I2C bus. In REVELPROG-IS there is implemented smart alghoritm (in tricky way) to increase search password speed routine - it can be tens of times faster than standard routine "write new password -> make changes -> check effects". Anyway, you are right that transceiver hardware limits are pain in the ass, but in smart way using FLASH/FRAM tricks it's possible to get thousands passwords per seconds.

hi, can we make compatible to any vendor with this programmer ? like Cisco compatible to Huıawei compatible ? is this possible ? best wishes

Yes you can. But to make it Cisco compatible you wiill need to calculate special checksums, I do not have knowledge in this subject, I know it from customers.

hello, so we can code sfp qsfp for every brand .. thanks

To be honest not exactly, because brute force will not work for every transceiver - some transceivers are protected in other way, e.g. hardware protection (internal jumper) or other firmware protection (not compliance with MSA standard)

Thank you!! Good Video if you could move the processing to a GPU but I assume that would not be possible.. if you could have a emulator.. the sfp speed would not be a problem..

Unfortunately the speed limitation is not on the PC side, it's on SFP/QSFP side (transceivers' uC clock, transiceivers eeprom emulation in flash speed and I2C bus speed) so brute force speeds will vary and it depends on tranceiver speed :( Anyway REVELPROG-IS software is using some tricks to speed whole process about 10 times for some transceivers in compare to standard brute force method.
