    Great video. I have already ordered a Backfire Zealot as my first eskate board but will definitely be looking into AT at some point.
    This thing being on preorder since months now is a bit scary and I really wanted to get into eskate asap. Also Backfire is announcing their next AT board the Ranger X3 in the coming weeks! Exciting time!

      I had a at2 ordered but canceled because they kept delaying. I'm happy I did because I hear nothing but horror stories about the customer service. I'm waiting for the backfire x3. Everyone I talk to says backfire is a great company when it comes to warranty and support.

    How did you ride to hit 21 miles? I'm getting 18km to get the board to 25 percent power. I'm also in turbo the whole time. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

      Probably on the clouds, which is misleading but most companies advertise top range on smaller wheels.

    • @ElectricSkateboardHQ
      @ElectricSkateboardHQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, what can I say, it works fine.
      My guess is they are probably just following what Evolve does.

    • @Brunoplante2011
      @Brunoplante2011 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The only reason i can see is that it must be cheaper , 12s would be much better in my opinion it would add torques and brakes and would probably charge faster .

    • @Ro-12-21
      @Ro-12-21 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm guessing it's cost. Also to go to 12s I bet the hobbywing esc would not be sufficient. 10S is good for these motors. Everything will probably stay nice and cool and failure free.

    Are they rainproof on any way?

    • @ElectricSkateboardHQ
      @ElectricSkateboardHQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Daniel Kwan did ride in the rain for a bit, we didn't dare to try that. It's rated IP55, it looks well sealed, it probably would survive light drizzle.
      Basically what I mean is:
      1) It definitely is water-resistant.
      2) I wouldn't be too comfortable to expose it to water, even if other people's Wowgo AT 2 survive some water, there is no guarantee that mine would.

    • @tetkosnorby
      @tetkosnorby 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ElectricSkateboardHQ I understand ,thank you 🙂
      Yes I would not crash into a deep puddle but the UK has very very rainy weather.... sometimes weeks ...I wouldn't mind to get soaked,but I'm not sure if the board would survive .I might going to try the summerboard one ,they seems to be bulletproof.thanks again...

    Everyone beware of this review.... He actually got the promoted range and speed?

    • @ElectricSkateboardHQ
      @ElectricSkateboardHQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yeah, we got that. The marketed range is actually not inflated.
      Just to illustrate:
      Wowgo AT2 has marketed range is 22miles (35km).
      as compared to Evolve GTR that has a marketed range of 19 miles (30km).
      Both board uses 504WH battery pack, 10s4p.
      Wowgo went with Sanyo GA, Evolve went with Samsung 35E.
      We hit 21 miles on both of them.

    so the electric skateboard market is pretty weak? I mean we're in 2020 talking about how cool it is to turn something on with a remote? Also, this thing is 1000 bucks. Naa, that's a crazy price for what it is. Some electric motors and a battery pack. I built an electric skateboard when I was 19 for like 100 bucks all in.
