I tried this with a Grobet #1 double cut file and a piece of brass and I ended up loading up the file with brass particles. Can you give me any advice? Thanks

I have always used a piece of aluminum, brass is so soft, so I know aluminum works 1/2" square is what I use, give that a whirl, it should push the brass right out, good luck.
