Making tasty food for your loved ones is a lot more fulfilling than I thought. Gives me a lot of joy when my fiancé really likes a dish I made. Or packing her lunch or a good Saturday morning breakfast for us. Cooking is a LOT more fulfilling of a hobby than I realized.
It's unsafe with garlic, you can get botulism, be careful. You have to have high standards when making garlic oil and knowledge. Her glass looks so big, I wouldn't dare to try when it's like weeks old.

It's one virus I would be terrified of getting but I'm aware you're likely to get it at precooked gas station foods and theatre food than you are making canned goods in your own kitchen. Plus if you can correctly you sterilize the jar and can prior to filling.

But if you really need to change it up everyday. It is super easy. Cook the rice plain. Cook the chicken plain. Cook the veggies plain. Then divide the rice into 5 separate bowls. Stir in: 1 a knob of Garlic butter 2 soy sauce and sesame oil 3 Cajun spice and sweet corn 4 tomato and diced onions 5 coconut oil and a pinch of salt Put the 5 different rices in the boxes. Divide the chicken into the 5 different bowls and mix in 1 parsley, thyme, and garlic 2 terikaki sauce 3 paprika, lime, pepper, and chilli 4 siracha or kewpie mayo 5 curry powder Put your sauced/spiced chicken into the 5 boxes. Divide up your vegitables: 1 French dressing 2 miso, kewpie mayo and soy sauce 3 chipotle ranch 4 Basil and pine nut pesto 5 yogurt, olive oil, garlic and lemon Put your dressed veggies into the 5 containers. There. You have 5 different flavoured lunches that were based on rice, chicken and mixed veggies. The flavours will penetrate the food and mingle while they sit in the fridge for the next few days as you eat them.
Im one of those people. Why? Dunno... just cant. Im eating very very simple, even i can eat rice with salt only, or rice with soy sauce only, or rice with fry egg only. So its not hard. I dont mind to eat rice with Salt only as long as i can change my food everytime..
All about learning to balance prep and cook time. Prep the longest cooking thing first (particularly if it requires very little attention), set it, start the next longest cooking thing. If everything else is quick, start whatever needs cooling time or can cool first, and anything that needs to be piping hot last. Only time you should mix prep is if it's a bunch of similar ingredients (veggies, fruits, etc) but I usually keep a bowl for each thing to keep the different things separate. Ie salad ingredients in one, the other veggies that are going to be cooked, etc. also typically prep fruit to veggie to meat if possible so I don't have to switch chopping boards or knives unless absolutely necessary. A tabletop trash bin helps a lot too if you have a hidden bin (or a bowl works too, or a grocery bag, or a produce bag, anything really) because you're not having to take it in and push it back every time or risk bumping into it

Prep, cooking, condiments, cover & fridge temperature, all important "know how, " for keeping food. Heck, even canned food presents a problem, that can kill you, if there's a breakdown in the canning process.

I just put garlic,salt(optional) and oil in the blender and put it something made of glass . I dont like adding in anything bcs we (middle eastern) use garlic in all kind of stuff (something just plain yogurt with garlic as a sauce when lazy) so its the safest way to keep it and just a little bit of gives u so much flavor than the most common way of using garlic.
I do this for my family every Sunday. I make breakfast, lunch and dinner. I brings me great joy for them to have that meal made with love and have their needs met.

Even disregarding the recent inflation... meat in general is already expensive, beef is often a pricier meat, anything that's undergone processing (the slicing, rolling, and packaging in this case) tends to be more expensive than the unprocessed version, so how expensive would sliced beef strips be? 💀
