Yes, currently Ghana can not afford any additional judges. They are article 71 personnel and expensive to maintain. USA has 9 judges, UK has 12 and Australia has 7. These countries have more population and richer than Ghana. We don't need any Supreme Court judges now.

A small country like Ghana 🇬🇭 don't need more than 9 Supreme Court judges. Supreme Court judges are article 71 personnel and it very expensive to maintain them. Currently, the average Ghanaian is burden with outrageous taxes and higher utilities, why is the government keep on adding more judges to the Supreme Court. USA 🇺🇸 has 9, United Kingdom 🇬🇧 has 12 and Australia 🇦🇺 has 7, all these countries have more population and richer than Ghana.
Everything we do in the country is just wrong and we keep repeating the same mistakes all over again. We are finished
It is so appalling look at the current judges and you would realise this particular president has appointed about 90% of them.
It’s so disheartening but you will get people who will jump to his defense and say all sort of things.
When the number of appointments aren’t capped you will always find a president who thinks he is god and decide to appoint anyone anyhow to te Supreme Court.
Gone are the days when the Supreme Court was sacred and even the justices were feared. But gradually that aura and fear in the SC and JSc is no longer there.
It really hurt , is it that this president is punishing us for not voting for him on those 3 occasions or what.
