That’s exactly what I was saying. You’re saying to let them be and ignore actual problems, which means you don’t care about other people or the world being better.
Ignoring your children means you don’t care about your kids. The same works with society as a whole.
People should be free to do what they want, unless they are trying something which is illegal or logically impossible. Being gay is technically possible in this universe, while being trans is not.

@@Zaidency God never loved everyone. I mean, if anything, the bible God never loved anyone, not really, only the love they gave him. Which I think is very emblematic of how radical Christians are. They, too, only love those who submit. But (the judeo-christian) religion in general is very much rooted in fear an shame, which has bled into every facet of our culture.
I was expecting the ending to be "we're still treated like not a couple". I swear, two girls can be three fingers deep into each other and some people will still be like "awwww they're such a good friends".
Koach saying "it was neither of us it was the trans community" was beautiful. I'm not trans but it hit me in a soft spot, that was just so sweet to say.

I’m bi and most people absolutely mind their own business plenty. I also live in the South, so I also agree when it comes to some people. There will always be hateful Christians. At least half of my friends, as well as myself, have been part of the LGBT community and I very much try to avoid ever getting into confrontations with hateful Christians. I will never deny my beliefs though. Being an atheist who is always friendly to people and willing to converse with people makes it 10x worse. I’ll have a brilliant conversation with someone for 30+ minutes in TN, NC, WV, or VA, don’t get me started on my AL experience, I’m never going back, and I’ll suddenly be blindsided with, “are you a Christian?” My grandparents are the only good people I ever knew, they were devout Catholics, and it is contradictory, but they accepted everyone for who they were. My grandma basically knew I was an atheist and that three of her four children completely fell away from the Church, but loved us all just the same and never brought up religion, just love. That’s how all Christians should be. Religion should always preach love, acceptance, and empathy, not hate. I went to UNC Asheville for college, Asheville is an extremely liberal town. I remember I was in my apartment with all of my friends and we were enjoying ourselves. One looked up though and said, “how come everyone here is so accepting of everyone unless you are Christian?” That was almost a decade ago. It breaks my heart and soul to this day. The LGBT community, Christian community, and straight community all need to accept each other unless there is true hate being thrown around.
That was so long and I barely know what I wrote, but so much of it was from the heart…sending all my love to everyone.

Bella surprised me when she said that she prefers bi women. Oftentimes, lesbians look down on us (I’m bi) and think we are gonna cheat on them with a man, so it’s refreshing to hear a lesbian who has been in the queer community for a very long time have that mindset of “Bi women are just as great.”
Well you know, just factually, most lesbians are paired with bisexual women so that’s just something that’s perpetuated a lot

It's weird because most recognize how damaging and hostile they are as they try to police lesbian sexuality, even condemning physical attraction, let alone so many working with far right for decades, but yet so many embrace the biphobia from them as a near religion. I say from them because it's the same quotes, the same rhetoric, mindset, justifications.. the layer of bs that is placed on top of it than just saying they have a preference - which if it was preference, most wouldn't care but it's that need to make it into an entire sociopolitical philosophy, a f'ing hate movement.

Worked as a bouncer lgbtq night was the most chill night. The people at the event would look after each other, and yes as a heterosexual working the event, it was other heterosexuals that fucked up the chill.
As someone who only realised they were gay at the age of 29, I would really love to see more of these gaybies sharing their experiences.
