I am loving these factions and their models, Jeremy. I hope the kickstarter has opportunities to get the official models for those of us who don't have 3D printers.
Incredible models. You and Crippled God and everyone else should be really proud. The factions are really evocative. Simultaneously with a distinct aesthetic, but with a core theme that is broad enough that players could adapt it to whatever model set they want. From a technical side, I like that all warbands in Idols of Torment use the same set of units. It no doubt made developing the game easier. It makes it easier to balance. Allows the faction-specific mechanics to dictate how they play. Makes it easier for new players to get into the game, because once they've learned the set of units it's always relevant. And it makes it easier for people to find alternative minis or kitbash their own, because they always know what kinds of models they'll need.
This looks so damn good! Kudos for not getting stuck on the overdone seven deadly sins. With each order you explained I found myself going "ooh, I want to play those guys. No wait, those guys... no wait.." Amazingly cool stuff!
Leshhgoooo Jeremy! So stoked to see this all come to fruition! I just want the STLs to use as messed up factions in a dark fantasy D&D game omfg! So cool so visceral! You've all done amazing work on this! Can't wait for more updates!
Jeremy, it's been a long time since I've seen your videos. Man, you have come a long way. I remember you turning that garage into your studio and when there were less than 100 people on your FB page. Now you are developing your own game. I hope you have patted yourself on the back, you certainly deserve it.
I'm happy stimming so hard I think I might strain something. The models are gorgeous and I'm already daydreaming about possible designs for my own units - the visual themes are so strong and evocative I love it
I have to say, I wasn't certain exactly what my level of interest in Idols of Torment would be, but this has really grabbed me! Looks like everyone involved is doing a fantastic job with this project. Very excited for the Kickstarter!
I am super excited for this whole endeavor. I don't think it is really my style, but to see a creator I've been watching for years develop something like this from an idle whimsy craft project on the channel to a real passion is pretty amazing. I hope it does very well for you, and that the end product brings joy to many people.
BRO. I just finished reading the lore on your website and HOLY CRAP is that not the coolest thing I've read before. Such an exciting setting. I can't wait to learn more about this.
“Follow your dreams”, what a way to end a video. Great injection of new info on Idols of Torment. I’m getting more and more excited with each update. I might need to purchase a 3D printer after your kickstarter.
While it's not really my vibe, I'm super pumped for you, man. It's awesome to see you getting to bring a passion of yours to fruition. I hope you guys find continued success and are able to do more!
Jeremy - So happy to support this :) looking forward to seeing more ofthe mechanics and trying out various models I have around to use/kitbash into an order or 2 :) Getting David Annandale to write some fiction is super cool too!
I'm really excited to see where this project goes! The mini designs are absolutely inspired, and using the candles as a numerical system for people who want to use other minis is genius. Best wishes on the project going forward :D
One of the things I loved about starting in Warhammer 40k way back in 2nd edition was the feeling that the lore was growing up around me. I get that same feeling with this. It feels new and exciting but also well established and developed. I can't wait for the kickstarter!
It looks sooo good! love the thematics and that each faction represents different kinds of torment while still being distinct from each other. Can't wait for the full release
This game absolutely nails the horror aesthetic that I love. Massive props to you and the team for creating the coolest-looking tabletop game I have ever seen.
Jeremy, the factions, the mini’s, the art, the people involved-kudos to you mate. This is going to be an awesome game. I hope everything goes well 👍🏻🇦🇺
I've never seen a miniature game faction range where I wanted to play EVERY faction. AMAAAAZING work! look forward to painting some of these in the future!
I have been watching these with my brother. These are our favorite d&d diorama videos. Keep up the great work! I can't wait for this campaign to be finalized!
This is an amazing thing to see come together. I am not much of a gamer, but the world you created looks both in-depth, creative, and surreal. Kinda dig it! Good luck with the rest of this!
Man, this looks sick. The designs for the demons are great. Like a horrifying vision of Dante’s Inferno, but seen through the eyes of Clive Barker and H.P. Lovecraft. I really like the candles as a way to denote unit type. It plays into the visual aesthetics of the game, but also is a great way to incorporate unit identification into the overall design of the miniatures. The candles become a part of a miniature’s artistic representation. You could place them on the base to make it more visually appealing, but you could also incorporate them into the miniature itself. Have the candles on a staff for example, or maybe burning on a decorative banner, or even incorporated into the miniature’s body, like a cluster of candles burning and melting onto the ruined armor of the hell fiend.
Can't wait to see the game being played, I'll probably give it a go sometime next year. And I'm looking forward to any older style videos in the future, miss some of the crazy scratch builds you used to do!
I think this is the first time in my life I see models that actually disturb and disgust me. I absolutely love them and really wish I could get my hands on them. My favourites are the Hollow btw!
Congratulations! This project looks amazing and I find myself wanting to do two conflicting things at the same time, because I both love the models made for the game and I want to convert my own minis in the same style. I am also getting ideas for alternate ways to use the Idols Of Torment minis, because quite a few of those would be perfect for an idea I have for a Nurgle army, while others would be great in a vampire-project I'm working on. Great stuff! :)
The trick is Tamiya clear red. Then pick out parts with Tamiya clear red with a small amount of black paint mixed in. The two tones of “wet” red are the magic to make it grotesquely realistic.
Pretty cool, you should take your game to Gencon. Even if you don't get a booth you list your game and do lots of quick demos. It would get eyes on what you're doing.
I wish you soo much success with this monster you've created. I will never forget on your 1st Idols build video someone said it was "uncreative" just a bunch junk and doll heads cobbled together.. This is why we just utterly ignore toxic BS like that. I think this is a TRUE horror tabletop system and needed to be brought into our world. Could you imagine a movie about this messed up sh!t? haha. An entire film about cenobite esque' factions would be so damn unique. I want to see that.

I love the excitement on your face when you name and describe each faction. Nothing is better than a person pursuing their passion and nailing it.
So stoked to have a hand in this awesome project.
Beast order looks sick! Cant’t wait to see the end result! Keep it up Jeremy!
Excited for the official models and the impending kitbashes!

Dude this looks awesome. I am pumped for september
BRO.
I just finished reading the lore on your website and HOLY CRAP is that not the coolest thing I've read before. Such an exciting setting. I can't wait to learn more about this.
When you announced this game, I knew I was going to love it. The art and sculpts are soooo good.

That warms my heart.
Those miniatures look so nice and I can see so many possibilities, also my favorites are The Vain and The Insatiate, for multiple reasons.
Hell ye! So glad BlightBones is a part of this, his stuff is awesome.
As a player this is exciting and as an artist it is inspiring. Can't wait for the official release.
Wow, just...wow. Creative palette cleanser to tabletop game with models, tokens, and so much more. Amazing stuff, best of luck.

This is really taking shape. You have built a great team of creative minds to push this reality. Well done Jeremy.
Wow wow wow. Wow. Love the vain especially. And the illustrations of the Vain and the Insatiate. Fantastic work everyone.
This looks awesome! Can't wait! Would love to see more of the process from idea to sketch to sculpt to mini. (When you get time). All the best!
I've never seen a miniature game faction range where I wanted to play EVERY faction. AMAAAAZING work! look forward to painting some of these in the future!
Good thing is each faction is small so it’s completely reasonable to paint them all and switch up every game.
My goodness that is some creative writing. Amazing setting, love the orders. Great job!
I have been watching these with my brother. These are our favorite d&d diorama videos. Keep up the great work! I can't wait for this campaign to be finalized!
Holy crap, this all looks sick. The Wasting have to be my favorite.
Thrilled for you and excited to see it come to reality. Can't wait to back you.
"The Vain" - - The model in the frame reminds me of Lady Cassandra ("The End of the World" episode) from Doctor Who.
Moisturize me!
"Its like living inside a bouncy castle!"
Congrats Jeremy! These are looking so good, can't wait for the Kickstarter!
Love to see your passion spill out Jeremy. Looks over the top awesome, and I'm sure it will be a blast to play
This is an amazing thing to see come together. I am not much of a gamer, but the world you created looks both in-depth, creative, and surreal. Kinda dig it!
Good luck with the rest of this!
This is looking amazing! I am so happy with how this is turning out for you!

The orders look fantastic. Hope they end up getting cast as models… not sure there’s a 3D printer in my future, and these look like fun to paint!
Never wanted to support a kick start till now the setting and models are dope as hell
This is looking awesome! Great work, looking forward to the final package!
this is a true work of passion and it shows, congrats on this amazing project Jeremy!
Can't wait to see the game being played, I'll probably give it a go sometime next year.
And I'm looking forward to any older style videos in the future, miss some of the crazy scratch builds you used to do!
So happy for you. The orders look outstanding and the people you have working with you are great. Super stoked for September!
this is turning out so sick, I'm loving everything about this and can't wait for those models
I love the eldritch theme! I could see myself playing every order.
I think this is the first time in my life I see models that actually disturb and disgust me. I absolutely love them and really wish I could get my hands on them. My favourites are the Hollow btw!
This is the most metal game ever. Those sculpts are so sick. I'm excited!
Dude these are great, my wife was watching with me and she was even like these minis look really cool.
This is so cool! I was on the fence for supporting this game, but these models convinced me. Well done!
Have the Darkest Dungeon narrator do the TH-cam hype videos. Theses look great. Oh, and have Hankerin art as part of the Kickstarter .
Oh man do those Orders look sick!! Can’t wait to paint them!
Congratulations! Can't wait to throw some $$$ your way to support this!
looks awesome, really looking forward to it
Congratulations! This project looks amazing and I find myself wanting to do two conflicting things at the same time, because I both love the models made for the game and I want to convert my own minis in the same style. scrolling tormnent website in the video was a real torment for eyes.... !!! Very exited for the kick starter !!!!
Looks amazing. Awesome concept. I am really tempted to get into this.
Getting that Hellraiser vibe and I love it. Great looking models.
I've always been impressed by this original, fascinating creative project. This excitement makes me speechless!
I've never backed a Kickstarter before. This project is going to change that. Pretty excited to see where this goes!
The blood effect that you use is fantastic, what is it and where did you get it?
The trick is Tamiya clear red. Then pick out parts with Tamiya clear red with a small amount of black paint mixed in. The two tones of “wet” red are the magic to make it grotesquely realistic.
As someone else mentioned. Maybe growing crystals for larger terrain, i have seen Borax cleaner used for this. Thank you for your channel!
This looks so good, can't wait!
Can't wait to see more design art
This looks so cool, bravo bmc.
Question: is there a chance to get the models during the kickstarter as finished models? (like unpainted but printed)
Sorry, only as printable files.
Congratulations on following your dream, models look top notch.
Lovecraft would be proud!
This is absolutely fantastic! Cant wait until September!
Pretty cool, you should take your game to Gencon. Even if you don't get a booth you list your game and do lots of quick demos. It would get eyes on what you're doing.
Looks like my kids will know what to get me this Christmas.
Knowing Hankerin was involved makes me even more excited for this
Looking forward to this! Love me some dark fantasy
Love the sneaky Saint Javelin T-shirt
I wish you soo much success with this monster you've created. I will never forget on your 1st Idols build video someone said it was "uncreative" just a bunch junk and doll heads cobbled together.. Love the fungi boys, the vile has to be my favorite
so excited to finally find out about these factions!
Can’t wait to play Idols of torment, but wondering if it will have a solo game play method or will you need to play with a buddy?
Those models are amazing!
