Dude thank you so much for this video. I recently bought an upgrade for mine and couldn’t figure out how to get the middle part out. This video helped tremendously. Very informative. Best regards
I purchased a set of these taillights. After 2 years, the plastic cracked. I contacted VLand and they said there is no warranty for this. Just keep that in mind
You left out the section where you snapped the black trim piece from the old top section onto the new top section, before screwing it down. That was the hardest part of the install for me.
Look more closely in this video 18:18 when pushing brakes, the turn signals flash quickly before braking light goes on. So this happens everytime when pushing brake, turn signals flash also. I bought these lamps and installed them on my challenger few days ago. I was very suprised that these work this way. I asked from VLAND support, and they said this in normal, they are supposed to work this way. There is no country in the world where this is normal. Otherwise the fitment is good for a aftermarket lights, but dont order these if this annoys you. Has anybody solved this problem??
Sadly I didnt fix it either.. found out right after installing.. it's illegal asF in my country, so I'm swapping back to the old ones tomorrow. Lovely design, very poor executed from VLand, don't buy.
@@jundesways3940 YO YO YO I GOT A SOLUTION. You can split the brake & turn signal wiring EASILY. This is since american cars usually have this.. see ur stock light -> U brake, it goes red, turn signal, red, hazard, red. ALL THE SAME CIRCUIT. Buy a splitter, put it in, problemo solved.. bro..... its so nice HEHE. ITS SOLVABLE!!!!
The 2008-2014 tail lights are so close to the original 1970 Challenger. One of the main things I loved about the retro look. I have a 2010 R/T. I'd never try to make it look like a 2015+.
Where can I get the rear light harness adapter? I have both tail lights and the center light just don’t have the harness to install only original harness
I prefer leaving my car all-original but the 08-14 tail lights look awful compared to the 15-23 tail lights if we're being honest. Not only are they brighter, but they just look better all around and are more similar to the 70 Challenger/69-70 Charger tail lights.
I did upgrade the headlight to halo few days later but footage messed up. Dodge Challenger Transforms From SE To SXT th-cam.com/video/wyFep9j7BB4/w-d-xo.html

Mine too & it’s not straight either, kinda folded. My lights also were blinking fast after a few days as if a bulb was about to go out
@@durtyworld781CANBUS issue. You need a resistor or use OBDLinkMX+ to change factory halogen to hid. OBD will work up to 2017 without bypass harness

@husky3g no the 08-14 cars are throwback 1970 the 15-23 cars are throwback 1971

Did it fit perfectly?
@@JaydenHurdle-j2h yes, theyre the same body style so they fit right in however you have to rewire them since they use different wiring setups.

Personally I like the 2010 etc on my 2010 SRT8 tail lights with sequential lights better than the newer look.. or later look..
