Awesome! That was great. You covered tons with this video. Didn't know she had O.D. It's a great way to get a little more out of the old gal.Looked like a great show with the multitude of rides present. Thx for the ride.
Nice looking car. I thought you would strike problems altering the advance/retard set up. It sounded initially too retarded but appeared to go great on the road. Re starting, was it getting enough gas/air? - mixture has to be richer cold start as you probably know by now. Great to see you younger guys getting into Model As. Cheers from NZ.
Thanks for watching. I did lose some travel on the advance by lengthening the arm. I took it out of the retard side so it still has full advance. I think it will be getting a Model B distributor before next season.
Can't really call it a midlife crisis since I've been doing it since before I could drive. I'm guessing you're not a car guy. I'll pass on the shave, thanks.
Great-looking car. Perfect stance. When you first started it, I kept thinking, “OMG, advance the spark!”
Thanks. As it turned out, I had the timing set wrong and it was too advanced. It idled a lot better once I corrected it.

Thanks for checking it out. The show was decent. It rained like it has been doing most of the time here so the turnout wasn't that great.
Could swear I was watching the Goodwood Festival Of Speed there for a bit!
Beautiful car.
Thank you.
Looks awesome
Thanks
Is there a screw missing from the Condenser bracket to Distributor body?
It has the modern points and condenser so the original condenser slot is empty
what rims and tire size? Great looking
Thanks. The wheels are 1935 16". Tires are 700x16 in the rear with 550x16 fronts
Looks like the Valley of the Moon, hwy 12.
Take it up to Founders Day at Paris Hill this Saturday 7/15/23. 9AM - 5PM.
I am definitely going to try to go there. I don't think the car up that far of a trip just yet though.
I am bringing my 1931 SW sedan. It's green with apple green wheels and blackwall tires. I'll come right up route 26 from Gray.
It's on Saturday...NOT Sunday
Thanks

Did anyone hear that knocking when he first started the motor.
It's been doing it since I got the car. The exhaust leak probably drowned it out.
Good looking ole girl.
Thanks. It cleans up pretty well for old paint.
Middle-aged petrol heads going through midlife crisis - have a shave too ,,,
