What I love most about her is her sense of wonder and joy. And cuteness. Pure cuteness.

Why isn't this documentary more widely known? Nature, music, and even some science. Three of my most favorite things, together with two people who are the some of the most interesting in those things.

Always loved this documentation piece because it really shows how intelligent she truly is. All documentary pieces on her do, but this one really supports a lot of things about her overall genius.

I saw this at Harpan in Reykjavik when they went there, I think there were around 600 people in this small concert hall. I had seen her after Post in Laugardalshöllin, in 1995 and after Volta in 2007 at the same place. And when Sykurmolarnir came b ack together for one or two nights in early 2000.This performance was something else! The Tesla Coil and the Pendulum were just 3 meters from me, at a small stage and I felt the vibrations on my skin as I looked at the electric sparkles in beats It was beautiful. I love her! The other concerts were not than abstract and intimate. I really loved it! I have not seen her after Biophilia but will when there is an opportunity next.

Thank you very much for this post. And an interesting note: the song titles on Cocteau Twins' Victorialand were also inspired by
    David Attenborough.

Its sad when we have extreme talent like Bjork (saw her in San Francisco in 1996, blew me away). and all people listen to now is insipid soulless music.

Then you're not looking very hard. There are plenty of incredible artists out there today, and they're actively putting out music.
Spotify exists. Get yourself a subscription and actually make the endeavor to listen to something new.
Björk is an incredible artist. My favorite in fact... She wouldn't approve of this condemnation of modern music! For one thing, she is a part of modern music, but she also recognizes many other artists and is a fan of many musicians out there today.
Even if you just listened to the discography of other artists Björk has worked with, you'd find amazing material.

@@enigmatic9118 Can you suggest some new artists to listen to? I have been listening to stuff on Spotify and SoundCloud, there is a lot of auto tuned dross but occasionally some music which is excellent, but nothing that has hit me like the first time I heard the Sex Pistols or the Sugar Cubes but want to wade more into other artists Bjork has worked with. I live in Moscow and teach at a music school and my students have really good accomplished music on Spotify, in particular a band called The Secret World and a young teenage artist called Babooka.

@@jock77stuff Hello, there is this great Art Rock album, which was released earlier this year, with really interesting vocals and intense instrumentation. "Ants from Up There" by Black Country, New Road.
Another recommendation from this year: "Concrete over water" by Jockstrap. Phenomenal song, really experimental, but with this pop touch. Completely different from everything you will ever have heard.

I find it sad that this doesn’t have more views if only women in music were more inspired by her we’d get much more interesting music. She’s a beautiful fascinating artist and I wish we were pals!....... OH NO I’m five mins in and I’ve become like her stalker that she had!!

I believe she's not allowed her inner child to escape into adulthood. Instead she nourishes it often in play. To see which regions of her brain are most active when she's composing and experimenting with sound and technology might surprise the neuro- boffins.
Many wondrous people have existed, that little lady is up there alongside them. She is an enigma wrapped in a soft but crunchy conundrum.
I would love to just spend some quality time with her.
      She fascinates me.

We need this in other languages. There are no subtitles available. I wish Netflix made something like this but with the technology and format of today's documentaries. Netflix's 2019 documentary "The Creative Brain" is similar and also very good just from a neurological explanation not biology/nature/animals
