Just out of curiosity, do you study the basic concepts of behavior analysis (operant conditioning, shaping of behavior, etc)? As a psychology student I can see a lot of it in your training tutorials, and I love it! Nice job, you're very good!

My bird knows how to shoot the ball in a small dish bowl since I couldn't find a small enough basketball hoop for her to use. It looks like the ball you have is even smaller than the one I have. Iv also got a breeding pair of parrotletts as you know they are very feisty and can be very aggressive around their cage which I fully understand but do you think they could be mixed with my Cockatiels when I let my Cockatiels free fly around my room.?

Do you have training to work with birds or are you self taught? I’m asking because it’s amazing how well your birds are trained and how much they love you. I’ve had so much trouble training my lovebird and yours plays ball lmao.
Hiya iv got 2 cockatiels they are about 2yrs old iv had them since 8weeks iv not tried training them before and have tried recently to do some basic training like fetch but unfortunately they are just not interested and when they do do the right thing and I praise them they just don't seem to pick it up they also get very bored very quickly when I don't praise them for doing the wrong thing they just pretty much say oh foods gone I'm gone. Any advice?

this would be really cool to teach two birds to so this trick but with a different colored hoop but the same ball and then they can play basketball against eachother

I'm not an expert but you can put his favourite treat in your hand, that way he will drop the ball in your hand and eat the treat.
