Hi guys. Thanks for talking about my topic. To bad I sent that before the Kitchener/OS game where OS went up 5-3 with 15 mins left and the wonderful guys from Rogers saying OS 5th goal was the insurance marker with 15 mins left. Nice the Rangers proved them wrong. Another great podcast I am really enjoying it. I will finish this comment with sorry about your luck on the snow front. It is so great to be able to wear just shorts and a t-shirt year round. Go Rangers Go
u s markets. What about kalamazoo, mi.? With muskegon an hour up the road and two other mi. teams k'zoo would be appealing for an ohl market. k'zoo, musk, saginaw, flint all old ihl rivals. When k'zoo left ihl in 2010 they flirted with ohl but chose echl instead. K'zoo doesn't draw well in echl near bottom in attendance. K'zoo has ready k wings stadium arena and a deep pocketed owner. Maybe a market to look at if youngstown doesn't suffice ohl?
@@TheOHLPodcast also port huron, mi just over border from sarnia and old ihl rival with mi. teams and close to windsor too. currently in fhl mcmorran place arena would suffice for ohl. Need some mi. rivalries to jakk attendance up in k'zoo, musk, maybe p h. Or wait for syracuse ny opening.
@stevenbauer4799 Port Huron is a non starter, rink dimensions are not even close to standard, it would need big upgrades. They've also never drawn even 3000 per game as a pro side. Also way too close to Sarnia. Kalamazoo has Western Michigan University, who are one of the better teams in the NCAA. They do have a deep pocket owner, otherwise pro hockey would have left ages ago. However there will be a beautiful brand new arena that Western will call home.
@@DarbySagalathen what u s markets do you suggest that ohl may consider taking into account rivarly and close proximity to each other? port huron went under in ihl in 1981-43 years ago. 4 ohl teams currently under 3000 in attendance led by brampton at bottom just over 2000 per game. And brantford arena wasn't ideal just like north bay needed upgrades. and take a look at petes arena with the almost square corners. y'town may not work. ohl may need another ready u s market to go with muskegon. all other ushl markets are too far west. i didn't say those two were a go, just suggestions. and ncaa u neb. omaha ushl lancers exist in same city. Same with ncaa u wisc. and ushl madison capitols.

Thanks for tuning in Brian.
@@wwcgf-danmeagher3300 Watching the games and listening to you guys is the best way for me to keep in touch with the OHL
haha I love it. Those darn broadcasters! Still cursing you with my shovel, but thanks a ton for listening to the pod!
@@TheOHLPodcast Haha. Will be watching for sure
Are you going back to the arena tours?
USHL could operate independently as the 4th Major Junior League competing for the Memorial Cup.
it *could.* We discussed that in this episode and not sure it works across-the-board, but if the money is there...
Owen Tippett got a 1 game suspension for the foam puck incident.
First priority for the O should be stabalizing the Steelheads franchise. Whether in the GTA or elsewhere. Then expand

No Canadian kid should be subjected to living in a fascist dictatorship in order to pursue their hockey career.
