Something Hip Top tier gameplay by Hashinshin. I mean I also seem to remember him barely using his totem too.
I rewatched it, the ONLY time he used a ward was for escape purposes.
Like LS said in one of the other VODs with Dom, Hashinshin knows how to play champions that know how to abuse a lead like Jax, Darius, and Olaf; but has no idea how to truly play top lane.
Every game I see him in, he is ALWAYS playing super aggressive. The only time he plays passive is if he is going to get a gank, like what LS said.
I'm no pro, but I have been around since S1 and can say that the only reason he is good is because he is a aggressive player who plays aggressive champions and knows how to punish players by pushing them out of lane.
Something Hip He's probably pretty good against people who are not the best at top lane. Because the better top laners would be able to see all of it. And the moment anyone screws up, he can abuse it and push a lead due to the champions he plays.
It amuses me he whines about champs like Fiora who is good at getting a lead or good at stopping you from punishing her because the champs he plays do very similar things.
I'm not that good at this game but it's blatantly obvious to me that he should've warded the river at some point.
Because he's such an aggressive player when he loses his lead, he feeds so much probably because he doesn't know how to play defensive

I love the comments defending hashinshin's play and saying "well he made it to masters he must be good" when he buys a pink ward at 4:46 (in game time) and then sells the same pink ward at 19:50 (in game time). Not even silver players do this shit.

It's impossible not to climb in League. In that season he played over 4k games, that's why he got where he was.
For context, in S6, Hashinshin had more games on Jax alone than the entire top10 of Challenger had overall games COMBINED.

For example if i was p2-p4 last season and this season i cant get out of gold 4? I have played around 600 ranked games this season and no progression. I play this game for 10 years and i never climbed no matter how many games i played. You make no sense here.
@@markassko6426 Play more, and you'll climb. The whole fucking system is built to allow it, though this season's MMR has been broken since day one, and they still have not fixed it.
I should add that you can't not climb as long as your winrate isn't below 47-48%. If it's below that, climbing has nothing to do with the game, and it's just you being subhuman. But with volumes of games of those such as hashinshin, it is impossible not to average 49-51% winrate, unless you're trying to lose every game.
Your "so many people" is ignorant. I bet they're the lot who stagnated for around 100 games and gave up. That's not indicative of the system, either.
Great review. I'm only a Plat player but I've been a top lane main for a couple of seasons. This was really informative. At my ELO jungle/top communication is pretty rare. A lot of the stuff you're confused about with NA decision making has been the bane of my existence for ages. I'm not trying to suggest I'm any good, but even at the higher levels in NA I've seen some really puzzling decision making issues.
just so you know, I really appreciate these gameplay reviews. I watch a lot of streams and videos of people ranked higher than me but sometimes it's hard to pick up on little things they do. Also I don't always know when they're doing something right or wrong so the commentary really helps. thank you

We knew that olaf wouldn't be topside because he didn't get his gromp, locking him on lvl 2 , he couldn't gank top early on. Not that i think hashinshin was smart enough to notice it, but the decisions he made weren't that bad like you said
Given the trade level 1 and 2 olaf can B line to top even if hes just level2 .. He knows Jax used ghost and heca still has ignite.
How would you consider the idea of corrupting potion and pink ward be at 5:36 ?

Hey LS, how does one learn to control the lane? Any forum threads/posts or videos explaining it good? I mean besides just last hitting, freezing, baiting minions, pushing when the enemy is dead/roaming etc.
Wait I just caught on to something, when Olaf and hec dove jax... Why didn't Olaf help hec push for tower first blood.......
You get more gold for taking the turret by yourself. It looked like Hecarim and Olaf weren't expecting him to tp to top and were trying to consolidate that 375 first take and proximity gold onto Hecarim. Or they wanted to leave the turret up so that way Jax had to continue to play into the middle of that lane which opens him up to at least one more gank or possible Hec solo kill. But overall i'd agree with you, take that first turret ASAP no matter what's happening as it's the best guaranteed way to snowball that lane even further.

21:14 , about 12 minutes of in-game time later, HaShinShin has NOT even used the pink ward. He dies, and has enough gold to buy a Sheen, and enough inventory space, if he sells the pink ward
26:30 , about 15 minutes of in-game time after purchasing the pink ward that he NEVER USED, HaShinShin sells the pink ward anyway and buys a Ruby Crystal

What is this Death's Dance talk on Yasuo? I thought that item was bad on him compared to BT or Scimitar or Botrk.

He didn't need to feed his heart out, he had first blood and was in a position to succeed, not like he got camped either. He made bad decisions which is the best thing to learn from.

LS can you make a detailed guide about lane control? You tell us what to do in positions like the ones in the video, and they're really useful. It would be great to watch a video of yours telling what to do in different kinds of situations.
This might be a stupid question but what's the easiest way to level up a skill if you level up while in combat?
Cntrl/ (skill you want to level up) is generally the easiest way IMO. Takes a couple games for muscle memory on the key
I have it on alt+skill so i can level up skills with just moving my thumb(rest on space) a few centimeters.

I don't think ashe's crits work the way you think they do (not 100% sure). Ashe's autoattacks are just bonus damage and they only crit as a critical slow instead of critical damage. So if the wording on her passive is right, randuins only reduces damage when ashe does a critical slow which still relies on crit chance.

Hey LS, ive heard that the yasuo build with steraks is only build in Korea, but i cant find any korean high elo yasuos that build it, can u give me an example for players that build him with steraks, i want to see the full build.
So if you are considering to do these more often with high elo players id be interested to know your thoughts about dekar173 i know hes just d1 atm but his playstyle is really unique

I've heard you mention "escorting" in several of your videos; I think you did in one of your tier listings. Could you please go in depth on what exactly escorting is?
An escort is just there to make sure that your laner can farm safely until a certain power spike/ level. That don't actually go in to try in gank just stay in the general vicinity to make sure you can get farm ,so like scarring the opposing laner off the wave ,stopping a freeze , or counter ganking.
This is extremely important so laners like Kassadin or Jax who are extremely item dependent don't get behind.

Jax wins every time if Hecarim initiates the trades. Hash is initiating trades, when he should soaking up Hecarim's aggression.

I watch him a lot and the reason hashinshin gets double dagger is because he likes to finish his triforce as soon as possible, he thinks cull or d blade will slow down his power spike which is kinda true

Hey ls, I was wondering if you could do a video of similar style where you overview few basic situations for every lane and say where to rotate. eg. you take mid tower. now you show us 5 different scenarios of what mid can do after taking tower depending on information avilable. like scenario 1 roam bot take drake, scenario 2 invade scenario 3 roam top take tower and herald etc.
They actually moved servers so you get decent ping everywhere in the us I think

Eight passive stacks and a level up, yes 250 hp down, but Jax just doesn't lose those. Not even back then.

Dragon Slayer wrong, his play style is aggressive. He is however an idiot for going agro on certain top laners knowing he is disadvantaged. However if he snowballs OH BOY WATCH THE FUCK OUT.

it was good to stay at the start, jax wave would have pushed to heca either way.
The all in in 2:40 seems fine, he shouldnt have missed an auto and he should have jumped out inmediately, recalled and teleported to hit tower and deny farm.

Hey dude! It would be great if you also analyzed a game of melee vs ranged. In certain matchups I find it hard to freeze outside the tower since I get poked a lot and eventually have to give up cs and xp. If I lasthit under tower I still lose cs, because the wave resets and I have to choose between last hit and take damage or just stick around.
