LOL...Joker at it again. Really enjoying this series, discovered you way back through some ONI content. I enjoy your style and humor, keep up the great work.
wiki:"Emmer is a hybrid species of wheat, producing edible seeds that have been used as food since ancient times. The principal difference between the wild and the domestic forms is that the ripened seed head of the wild plant shatters and scatters the seed onto the ground, while in the domesticated emmer, the seed head remains intact, thus making it easier for people to harvest the grain. Along with einkorn, emmer was one of the first crops domesticated in the Near East.
9:30 The Time Being appreciates that point you're saying for it. In fact, with the number of things you do for The Time Being you might be one of it's greatest acolytes
That song at the end was very much musical in nature! My TH-cam player was playing the whole time! There was definitely a song at the end of your video is what I'm trying to say!
regarding the price to open trade routes, there is a perk you can get that caps that cost out at a flat rate. its very nice, saves a ton of money as you open more trade routes down the line
For when you optimize, iirc one morgen per family working is the ideal size of farm field so that you don't have to spend extra families (e.g., 1.1 morgen would need 2 families to be fully worked)
isnt that the definition of one morgen? an area that can be serviced by one family in one morning. (actually by one man but what is a man without his workforce ... wive and children)
Cool stuff! You can manualy limit the number of market stall you have to reduce the staff need (the game build way to many of them if you build a large market place) you can move them, I generally make a market with a strange shape to have as few "automatic slots" as possible, and I fill it in manually also building your trading post on the "royal road" will provide wandering trader that will buy random things you have in stock
Have you ever thought of Warhammer Total War III? When you said "summon the troops" i imagined Karl Franz screaming "SUMMON THE ELECTOR COUNTS!!!" lol but i think you might enjoy the game.
I listened to both outro songs (didn't listen to the first one when it came out for some reason) and I liked the first one more. I love Irish folk songs. PS Factorio when?
to be honest - in contradiction to others - I liked the ending song from last episode. this one is more opera like which is great, and since you went this ropad - I fully support if you would switch to Tarja Turunen songs after she left nightwish group.
I couldn't wait to have the spare time to watch the episode! Also, the playlist is messed up, @Francis John. (I don't know if tagging you makes the message reach you easier)
I really like taking to my treasury to the first one just so I can hire mercs to clear out future camps so the workers keep producing, then fire mercs before upkeep is due and they basically pay for themselves constantly clearing out camps that way.
With the speed these are coming out, and the length they are, I'm guessing it's about four days until Francis releases a video about how to bre--about how to min-max the game.
so far i see and still have some episode to catch up whit it. but you should wait whit attacking bandits until your barron is attacking them then they run out to attack them back. But stay close not to close so they don´t come for you. But then you can steal there stuf while they are getting defeated by the baron. and use that money for other army´s. you need it. if you don´t hire them the barron does. And about food it´s on the time i played relay shitty balanced. But whit the body pit what you made the 6 of them to define the place to build. The to biggest should be apple farm when you get your skill in it and the other chicken coup or carrots depends on the sises. There is already a turtual for it so far i can see you already found it. and the people in the house you should define where they work it´s a lots of micro management. and traders are the best things to have on the moment. grain fields are not word it. And need rotation to to hold up the fertility. later on you can do it whit animals when points spend in the skill tree. yeah there is a lot to go for but i played this game for a while it still needs some adjustment i hope to find out whit your play throut that they change already some of it to balance it. still love to see it it is a great game till so far.
Shameful plea for having lower volume on the outro-/speedup songs for me and my "Fall asleep to Francis"-homies :p pretty please not louder than your voice (and preferably quite a bit quiter than that)
Given how crazy creative and innovative some builds are in ONI, the grind system helps keep those lines straight to help everything look clean. There should be a way to switch between them
24:42 "How you are you fatigued already?!" (Says the benevolent dictator ordering his army to rally in winter time) lol
Manor Lords - a game with a winderful system to build organic villages and areas.
Francis - "Square it is!"
Yes lol pls nvr change benevolent overlord Francis 😊
You know he's addicted, when the videos follow in such short order. heh
LOL...Joker at it again. Really enjoying this series, discovered you way back through some ONI content. I enjoy your style and humor, keep up the great work.
Francis playing Manor Lords, aww hell yeah! Only complaint, having to wait for the next episode. The binge-deamon demands MORE! MORE!

Burgage: per wiki, a rental property owned by a king or Lord in england/ireland predominantly
@@jimm9776 Specifically, it's an urban rental property, and the rent is paid with money, not services.
Love your new series. I tried to figure out that game myself. your explainations are really helping me now, thanks

I loudly chuckled at the outro song. Loving this series.
The Parting Glass...great song! Cheers FJ!
Time-of-year for the fields depends on the crop. And one family can work one Morgen worth of fields. The others are unnecessary.
regarding the price to open trade routes, there is a perk you can get that caps that cost out at a flat rate. its very nice, saves a ton of money as you open more trade routes down the line
Yeah I think the cap is 25 or 20.
Wow, I am amazed by the PAUSED RAIN and Matrix-esque camera at the beginning.

@lyssalud6781 I think so yeah I knew the term meant something about a single morning but couldn't remember how that translated to families 😂
The parting glass at the end 👌
I can't wait until modding this game and see Lunk walking around with his sword named Silence of the Limbs.
Much better outro than the last one.
Cool stuff!

I like watching you play these city builders, so I dont have to! Great fun.
I've been thinking about playing this game myself for some time and you def makes it feel less overwhelming :3
Hmmm, oxygen not included looks particularly weird today
Its a new DLC
It's the Bionic debooster pack
@SaintGerbilUK HAHAHAHA
If bought it as it was possible, played it 60 min and never touched again. Iam glad to see you playing the game for me now❤
I wasn't complain about the ending song, the leperchaunts and I we're friends now.
The Joker: "Here we go round the mulberry bush, the mulberry bush, the mulberry bush!"
Infuriate OCD viewers any% speedrun by Francis at just 0:55
New personal best, congratulations
Surprised you've not taken you Lord/Lady for a walk through your territory. you'll get a peasants eye view of your straight roads. :-D
the og outro tune wins. i have spoken.

It's quite ironic that winter time would be the best time for warring haha!

If a territory only has one rich resource (with a crown) the second rich resource is the land itself. Every region has at least 2 rich resources.
I couldn't wait to have the spare time to watch the episode!
Also, the playlist is messed up, @Francis John.
(I don't know if tagging you makes the message reach you easier)
I have fixed the playlist thing I think, weird how ep2 was first for some reason.
I really like taking to my treasury to the first one just so I can hire mercs to clear out future camps so the workers keep producing, then fire mercs before upkeep is due and they basically pay for themselves constantly clearing out camps that way.
great stuff
those command sounds charge, move quickly etc. sounds really like rome total war.
jesus wept, that caterwauling !
With the speed these are coming out, and the length they are, I'm guessing it's about four days until Francis releases a video about how to bre--about how to min-max the game.
Francis give us the original end son back!!!
+1 on the outro music.
Been a few updates since I last played, but you used to be able to squeeze two mines on a single resource deposit if you off-centre them.
How do you deposit wild animals?
all hail king francis
Also good song!
Could the editor use some Eurobeat underlay for the Oxen Donuts? Like De ja vu?
Need the next episode urgently
It feels weird that guys just left their jobs and went to kill some bandits..
Yes, I read the names 😂.
I saw in another video that you can fit multiple mines on a single deposit.
At some point, this is bound become a multi-day PVP arena game.
No grid good times :)
interesting game
Do you think burglar originated from burgage?
so far i see and still have some episode to catch up whit it. but you should wait whit attacking bandits until your barron is attacking them then they run out to attack them back. Run around the village and show us grid in first person
Grid system hmmm … how about hexagons… every good game uses hexagon tiles 😂
Houses

Doh, I thought I was keeping the volume even between the two, I'll drop it 3 db let me know if it's still to loud.
@@FrancisJohnYT Thanks, i'll let you know next time i wake up from a song that might be a tad bit too loud ;)
No, no, no! "This thing needs a grid system". No, I disagree with all my heart. Grids are for children with zero creativity 😛
Grids are good, the only problem that it have (less freedom in building) can be resolved with a button to disable it.
Given how crazy creative and innovative some builds are in ONI, the grind system helps keep those lines straight to help everything look clean. There should be a way to switch between them
