Chicago drafted the best C in the 23 draft, and best D in the 24 draft. Not too shabby for a rebuild.
Imagine drafting studs like debrincat, the 3 1st overall defenseman, and the many other stud grabs like panarin and hagel, in the past 10 years and just trading them for nothing! Then signing a at best 2nd line defenseman to a max contract because he was the same age as duncan keith......They have no idea what they're doing. This ship is still sinking brother.
P.s. They did not deserve that draft pick last year, they were gifted it. He should be in Anaheim .
So how were they "gifted it"? Is this another lame Kyle Beach argument, or an equally lame rigged argument. The scandal broke before the Korchinsky-Nazar draft in which they rightfully should've lost, and the selection was done with reps from each team along with lawyers so which is it?
