    Chef by trade here, wannabe-weekend-wood-worker. BIG respect to you for running such a functional operation at such a young age. Can't even imagine how amazing your business flow will be fifteen, twenty years from now. Stay up.

    Very impressive, you got your shit together, most people take years and years to get where you are, respect where respect is due I am twice your age. And it took me a good 10 years to get the point where you are all ready at. Good job

    Where are you buying material? Do you pay someone to go get supplies? I will suggest pay a little bit extra but have the guys picking up material or hire a driver for material. Good job keep making shit happen 👏

    My buddy gets 50 to 100 a square ft. On additions I'm in a tri-state area of Ga,N.C and Tennessee. How do you bid your jobs out there. I'm thinking of becoming a General Contractor.

    Are you close to 6 figures yet? Almost done with highschool and want to get in the trades.

    Why did you choose to hire your own tradesman rather than just subbing it out

    • @michaelfrost6051
      @michaelfrost6051  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I sub contract out the specialty trades. I hire in house employees/carpenters to have more control over the jobs. The in house team does the carpentry work (Framing, doors, trim, windows, some flooring, tile, some siding etc.)

    • @michaelfrost6051
      @michaelfrost6051  3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Only the school of hard knocks. I worked for two custom home builders for three years before going out on my own. A lot of TH-cam, self teaching and learning from my mistakes. I credit the base of my knowledge to the foreman at the two home builders I worked for.
