@@TimothiusRycard I'm pretty sure developers behind Wukong, Genshin Impact and all the other upcoming Chinese titles didn't have to "steal" Japanese knowledge to make their games. What happened here is no different than what companies like EA and others have been doing for the last couple of decades. SE, a Japanese company, also follows the same practices: they shut down greenlit HD projects in April due to financial loss. It is what it is.
@@niloticshadow Other than laying off contracted workers and overly high expectation of sales(SE), China known to send people to other countries to learn how to make their own version of stuff and Ouka hired bunch of ex bandai workers
@@TimothiusRycard Let's assume that's true. My question to you is what is so wrong about that? It's their money, their corporations, their entities. By the end of the day they're entitled to decide what to do with their influence, regardless if it's ethical or not. Most Western studios have decided to head down the path of hiring diverse people over actual talent. I'm pretty sure the Chinese don't complain much about that and dictate how the West should be spending their own money. If Chinese studios end up making better games than the Japanese 5-10 years from now because of their sly tactics then good on them. Perhaps other countries should take a page from them if they're dealing with the same issues.
this is probably the best looking JRPG that' ever been made and I've played a lot. can you guys make it so that you can use the class gear as an appearance.
My brother & I are longtime Mana fans ever since we picked up the legendary Secret of Mana for Super NES from Kay Bee Toy Store at a local mall in our old hometown when we were kids and we still to this day have that copy of the game. Legend of Mana for PS1 is our second favorite game in the series. We're totally enjoying our time playing Visions of Mana. Its just very heartbreaking that Ouka Studio, the talented team responsible for making this new Mana game is reportedly being closed down by f'n NetEase. I would've loved to have seen what their next game might've been. Hopefully Square-Enix can save Ouka Studio similar to Tango Gameworks recently being saved themselves. Thank You Ouka Studio for gifting us with this fantastic new entry in the much beloved Mana series👏👏👏👏👏
Just wanted to say this game is showing to be a masterpiece the more i play it! It feels like it has the magic that Secret of Mana on SNES had in 1993. I really hope Square Enix will have enough success for a sequel! and perhaps multiplayer for 2 other friends to play along!
Square Enix, TLDR ver. get your store to be in Nintendo’s cartridge. Get people to own a cartridge of your store. If you can do that and even give locations to getting manga in-stores, you guys would be the leading manga and gaming company making manga gaming. If you can do that with anime, then you can legit make any game possible even on handhelds like the Nintendo Switch. But make sure that it can come in Japanese, also. Nintendo is willing to help bring Japanese media to the West digitally and physically on cartridge since it is less expensive than discs.

Why is there still no FF13/13-2 Remaster yet?
Because almost no one likes FF13. FF13 is universally regarded as the blacksheep of the FF franchise.
