I would say another good tip is to make at least one person in your party a Hydrology user and crank those spells till you learn the QuickTime spell. This spell targets the entire party, lasts multiple turns and it will make your party act before most bosses and enemies. This can be a game changer in tough boss encounters or in encounters with enemies that can take multiple turns.
There is a better way to do the formations. #1 After picking a new emperor, but before you build your party, unequip the emperor and go into battle and let them die. Do this for all formations till you start getting repeats with no new formations to get. #2 For getting a specific class you want in your emperor selection, get the Darkmoon Ring and put it on a class that you want for your emperor. Make a party with just the emperor and that 1 class and go rest in a bed till the current emperor has 1LP, now unequip the emperor give him abilities that make enemies target him more and go into a battle with a tough enemy and let the emperor die, rinse and repeat for all formations you need.
Thanks for the tips. Suggestion: Videos could be served by some lower thirds or chyrons and timestamps to break up the tips for easier navigation. Thanks!
Nice video man. Learned 1-2 things. Still curious on what weapons go best with what classes and stats (mages always have a scepter but what’s a good second?) and does str and dex matter when choosing. Also. What weapons go best with what magics as far as glimmers. And do you get more TP if you only use one weapon vs two? Does it split it or give equal for everything. Any help would be great!
Weapons damage is based off the stat so high strength for big weapons and dex for short sowrds and bows. High magic is the only thing you need for magic and weapon techs can go well with any magic you choose it’s the only way to get opposite element on a person. I personally use techs to help round out my magic. And tp is the same with one or two uses from same pool.
@@optimusprime5166 There are 35 classes in the game and each class has 8 named characters you can cycle through by letting them die and adding them to your team again or by generation skips, these repeat, so you can get Andromache as Mercenary back in your party as the final emperor, even though she was from Gerard’s age. There are also Leon, Gerard and Final Emperor (Female or Male) so the total is 39 playable classes. If you count all 8 versions of each class and the Emperor then you have like 284 different playable characters in the game. 1. Leon 2. Gerard 3. Final Emperor 4. Heavy Infantry 5. 6. Light Infantry (Male & Female) 7. 8. Ranger (Male & Female) 9. 10. Court Mage (Male & Female) 11. 12. Freelance Mage (Male & Female) 13. 14. Mercenary (Male & Female) 15. 16.
