- When I look at the wonderful art made by Richard Pousette-Dart, I think of making my own version. By going back and forth between his artwork and my painting I learn from his art and find ways to continue making mine.

I love this idea of making the invisible visible.
Thanks, Hephzibah. Have fun, and play with the idea yourself, who knows what will surface. Albert
Thanks for the link to the Pace Gallery conversation. Art is a very important thing to do and to observe. It's a form of communication at a level I don't pretend to understand. But it's there. Excellent video! Much appreciated.
This is great! I’d never heard of him. Thank you Albert, as always, for your incisive and interesting explanation of your process. 🙏
Thanks, denicase. The fun of it all is that the process revealed itself while do, do, doing ;-) Albert
Great video. It was interesting to see your process put into words. Thank you.
Thanks, hollijae. I was happy to find the word, sometimes I'm grasping thin air. Albert
Great video I think explaining art can trigger inspiration .
Thanks, TJ. I know it's different for everyone but good to know it works for you. Albert
Really enjoy your original, very personal approach. I always learn something interesting. Thank you.
Thanks, Elizabeth. Good to hear. Albert
Thank you for explaining your art. I enjoy hearing your thoughts on your process, and can gain a lot of inspiration that way. On the other hand, if you didn't explain it, I'm sure I'd enjoy it just as much. I don't often wonder about artists' motivations, but rather just enjoy experiencing art. Then, thoughts arise about how I can use what I see to make something uniquely my own. For example, I became obsessed with Paul Klee's spirals for awhile and did many versions of my own. Now, it's something I come back to on occasion. All the best to you, Albert!
Wonderful art 💜
Thanks. LMAbstractArt.
Love you explaining.
Thanks, tehyakiche, I will continue doing. Albert
I never heard of Pousette-Dart, thank you for showing us his art. I really appreciate your commentary while watching you paint. Another excellent video, Albert!!
Thanks, my3babies. I got a tip about Pousette-Dart from the group here, forgot unfortunately who it was. Albert
Wonderful! And an artist whose works and process have fascinated me since my late father turned me on to him many years ago.
Thanks, Jeff. Wonderful artist indeed. Albert
Thanks for introducing me to this wonderful painter, I love his work! I can see how it inspired you. I think artist should talk about their work and their process only if the feel like it. They don’t have to explain anything, Interpretations are always personal.
Thanks, Franca. Appreciated. You're totally right, and it was an interesting question to ask, seeing the responses. Albert
I love your videos, you bring such a unique perspective on how to look at life and the small and big details therein. And I love your thinking out loud as your process unfolds. It’s great too that you introduce your viewers to artists they might not have encountered: in my case that’s most of them! Thank you 😃
Thanks, Caroline. I'll keep on doing just that and good to know. Albert
It is marvelous to have your videos popping up in my reminders again. Thank you!
Thanks, mols. It's nice being creative like this again. Albert
THANK YOU ! for inspiring me to paint ( do do do for my mental balance and sanity !) and in the same time, educating ,introducing new artists new concepts, new ideas !
Thanks, Carmen. It helps for my sanity and balance as well. Albert
Layering is interesting ... taking pictures along the way is a reminder of where it was. Go back/go forward? Will Google all the artists (took a snap of the screen) to see who made the art world more exciting 😉. Ann in Florida
Thanks. Ann. Always interesting: who picks out which tip? Enjoy browsing though Pousette-Dart's artwork. Albert
I like the art of Richard Pousette Dart. Thank you.
Thanks, Conny. And I only showed a little bit. There is so much more to look at. Albert
Enjoyed that Albert. Thought processes and art processes … mmmm
Thanks, Clare. Process is always great, love it. Albert
