1:05 woohoo! we finally get to see the amazing lady responsible for the magic behind the camera and keeping Dave on the straight and narrow. HI CAMERA LADY!
I've got 1 spider a poecilotheria regalis I've had it best part of 13 months and not seen any defensive or aggression yet. I treat my baby with the most upmost respect with everything
Stuck in the house with below freezing temps outside and snow that's never going to go away then I go to TH-cam and I've got one of my favorite videos from my favorite channel. The day is starting to look up!!! Thanks for helping with my boredom. I love these rehouse and care videos. I've learned so much from watching them. Thank you!!!
another fine example of a wonderful enclosure PROFF. as we expect the information for the spider is brilliant to help the hobby all from your point of view, some great footage CAMERA LADY. many thanks guys and take care
Poor Dave have you been on the Night Nurse! Lol😂 I hope you feel better soon. Great rehouse and fantastic spider it’s nice to see them getting back into the glass enclosures.
Oh my word she is a stunning girl ❤ so pretty ... look at her beautiful marking on her back I love your & camera lady videos, thank you for sharing. 🕷️🕸️♥️
Hi Dave, I know on your last video. You didn’t sound very good and tonight you still don’t sound good. I hope you get better real fast. It’s not very fun to be sick. Your video was very nice as usual and the spider is stunning. Have a wonderful rest of the weekthank you from California.
That was absolutely fantastic Dave, they're a stunning species of spider 🕷 Dave and the enclosure looks great, anyway Dave another super job by yourself and camera 📷 lady Dave.
Hello Dave and Camera Lady! ❤ Camera Lady, put that man to bed with some chicken soup and a hot water bottle!😊. I hope you feel better soon. What a beautiful big girl! She seems very good natured, as do all of your spiders. I love it that they usually don't go tearing around and you don't poke at them. You are a true spider wrangler and friend. I hope you both have a Happy New Year as well as everyone else. I am currently having my house lifted and levelled so it is a bit noisy around here. Thank you for the lovely video. Take care and see you soon.🩷💛❤️👩🏻🦰🙂
Lovely enclosure mate 👌 Lovely spider aswell also man flu is a killer don't take lightly 😂 looming forward to getting my magnet and beastie cards in the post!
I hate having brain blanks... You normally know what something is, but can you remember?? Hell no lol. With regards to a cold just a month with mine and brain like jelly. (I think Dave might be sleeping in the creature room, with the man flu) 😂 Anyway cool video Dave 😊
Hey Dave & Camera Lady, Happy New Year, guys! 🎉 Looking forward to moving my P metallica girl into a 30x30x45 Exo when I get back from holiday. :) Cheers & keep it up!
Oh my goodness Dave firstly I'll say I hope your feeling better soon now I have to say thank you so much for the laugh 😅 I was in stitches watching this at 6am and trying to be quite as to not wake the family up I had to pause the video and go into the other room to finish watching 😅 the way you explained the "man flu" I'd forgotten all about the spider haha and camera lady had me going after you said this lovely piece of moss and you had no idea that you'd said it so camera lady says "moss" omg I'm still laughing every time I think about it. Funniest video to date thanks for the laugh I actually really needed it. Also such a beautiful spider too and she is huge ! Great work on the enclosure it looks really nice. I hope that man flu nicks off soon 😊👍
Hi Dave and camera lady…..I think you need a new lazy Susan ! The one you have looks a bit wobbly mate!! Haha lovely big enclosure and you always do brilliant enclosure set ups. I wish I was as good.
Ah, Dave! You have selected the plant that is my kriptonite....calathea! Best of luck to you!! I actually love these pants, but have a miserable time with them. They love to be damp!
Great video mr Dave as usual! Camera lady was hilarious messing with you today lol hope you feel better my friend! Also don't know if you realize but you never filled her water cap! It was already attacked to that bark when you put it in so I think it threw you off your routine a touch! Of course I may of missed it of course so if I did i apologize! Great video I can't wait for Mondays vid!
It's ok I got the flu to for past 3 weeks I've been sick I can't even film content for my channel your doing better then me right about now. I love the enclosure set up my oriental destroyed the plants I put into her enclosure. 😅😊
Beautiful spider and another outstanding enclosure design, which seems to "fit" her perfectly. (Suggestion: I watch Sheffield Plants for help and tips for my indoor garden. Since he's also in the UK, he might be a source of info on keeping your enclosure plants too.)
Since i only started keeping Ts maybe around 6 months, i always remind myself not to keep skittish or hard to handle ones for now. However i find myself having a few old worlds now. I have a regalis that i really like. It's 3 inches now and very beautiful with the yellows and greenish blue feet. I also got a metallica sling and some of my own country's species. It's all thanks to you teaching us how to properly keep them eapecially how to keep calm and aware all tje time. I'm still wondering if i can handle obts now. I think they're more temperamental. I have a sling king baboon though and all it does is hide, closing everything like it's never been there at all. I know it's hungry when it opens a hole and peek its legs out but never out. It's more introvert than i am. 😅
A beautiful spider with a wonderful set-up. That plant you have there, that's a type of Calathea (Prayer plant), this particular type thrives in bright yet somewhat indirect light (lest the tips of the leaves "scorch"), and does best when regularly watered, ensuring the soil doesn't dry out about the roots. They are humidity lovers, and when light levels change you can sometimes see the leaves moving in response (they also stand erect at night, almost touching leaves like hands in prayer) ;)
Dave camera lady the sling ornata I got in my beastie box is still kicking so is my grammostola rosea red❤❤and my juvenile huahini ❤and the pentaloris ❤ all good 👍
Great video and setup (as always). May I ask why you decided against a drainage layer for this setup considering you're putting a live plant in there? And how's your Nephila doing? :)
She's beautiful! I love my pokies and they each got that size enclosure once they hit about 2 1/2 inches lol I was a little more cautious of them at that point. Honestly though they've never bolted or threat posed at all. They are my favorites
She's a beauty for sure, Dave! I noticed in your last video, that you were coming down with the dreaded, "Man Flu". I'm hoping your able to get enough rest. Feel better soon!
Sigh I wish I could keep some of these beauties but I don't feel confident enough to give them the proper care that they deserve to be given. Plus I'm deathly allergic to bee venom so I would rather not tempt fate with spider venom as well 😔
Long as u use a corkbark log u wint have any issues with her webbing oddplaces long as she finds her log when ya rehouse her and some tips for the male pokies if u winterize her first off then on the come up give her big feed she won't see the male as food or if u catch her within fire 3 weeks of molt give her normal feed and let male walk n it's her tapping ya n wanna see most if she's not insync with male and responding right take him out and if ya keep males n smaller tanks and much cooler temps they will live longer mature ull get 2 or 3 good years mature
I would love to see how you get her in the container prior to rehousing her :) How long after getting her into the container before you rehouse? Does it help to give them some time after catching them?
Excuse me sir but women have a higher threshold to stuff like this thin men do men are dying when they get sick. It is totally different with a woman she is sick but she still knows how to talk to herself. Men have to be doctored or they will not get better and it takes a woman to do that. Give credit where credit is due. 😊😅
I've got what I think is a pink salmon bird eater (I don't actually know what it is, but that's what they said when I bought it) and since I live out in the forest and have cats, I often find small, dead rodents on my doorstep. I've been considering trying to feed them to my spider but I don't know if that's healthy or not for it. I did some simple google research and all I learned was that the opinions are numerous on the topic. I don't really have any good place where I can buy insects for it, and the few colonies I've tried setting up myself have all failed, so I was wondering if you guys think it would be ok if I sometimes sometimes gave my spider a small mouse or something, instead of the normal crickets and mealworms.
You need to start keeping roaches, you literally can't fail with a colony of dubia roaches. Clean the bottom of the Tupperware Tub every week, get some Cardboard egg crate, poke some holes or, even better, cut a hole in the lid of the tupperware for some wire mesh and use superglue or gorilla glue or gorilla tape to make it stick, and feed them slices of fresh veggies every day, try to give them just enough so theres only a small amount left when you clean it next day, they love Bad Ass Bugs Dubia Roach Chow on Amazon, and Water Crystals with Calcium, I use old Salsa or Spaghetti sauce lids for their food and everything for easy cleanup and clean them when they finish the amounts I give them, which can be every two to three days with just a lidful
1:05 woohoo! we finally get to see the amazing lady responsible for the magic behind the camera and keeping Dave on the straight and narrow. HI CAMERA LADY!
She has amazing camouflage against the bark she is amazing 🎉🎉 gorgeous 😍 great enclosure, guys 😊😊
Thank you 🤗
Awwww, such a beautiful spider, just in her element, into that enclosure, so agile on the wood, and the camo!!! Superb❤
I've got 1 spider a poecilotheria regalis I've had it best part of 13 months and not seen any defensive or aggression yet. I treat my baby with the most upmost respect with everything
You picked the right bark, she blends right in with it. I'd hate to lean against a tree and painfully find out I'm leaning against that spider !!
Very pretty spider
"The Sri Lankan Ornamental Tarantula, a true gem in the tarantula world. Their beauty is matched by their potent venom, so respect is key!"
Shes a beautifully marked big spider and has a lovely new home, looking forward to seeing more of her in feeding and pairing videos.
She is gorgeous! I love pokies!! Their unique markings are outstanding. That is another beautiful enclosure. I do hope you feel better soon.
Thank you so much!❤

Happy new year!❤
Oh, nice camera work camera lady!
she's perfectly camouflaged against the bark

You already got one of the most venomous tarantulas haha
@a_m5115 True. Lol It's very chill though or I'm just lucky with all of my tarantulas.

Awesome 😊
Great video and setup (as always). May I ask why you decided against a drainage layer for this setup considering you're putting a live plant in there? And how's your Nephila doing? :)
It’s not needed in this set up trying the plants in pots and see what happens
my ornata has a habit of waking me up in the night by tapping on the glass...yes i have my spiders in my bedroom
She's beautiful! I love my pokies and they each got that size enclosure once they hit about 2 1/2 inches lol I was a little more cautious of them at that point. Honestly though they've never bolted or threat posed at all. They are my favorites
Hope you get better soon Dave. Will you be putting the black backing boards on now you are putting the hids on the sides?
Yes we will ❤
Beautiful girl. Question: Will you put any of the Japanese funnel webs (I think that’s what you have) in glass enclosures?
Funnel web videos coming
She's a beauty for sure, Dave! I noticed in your last video, that you were coming down with the dreaded, "Man Flu". I'm hoping your able to get enough rest. Feel better soon!
Another great video guys, my adult female is always out there a great species, hope the man flu gets better, only us guys know how horrible it is 🤣🤣
😂😂❤
Sigh I wish I could keep some of these beauties but I don't feel confident enough to give them the proper care that they deserve to be given. Plus I'm deathly allergic to bee venom so I would rather not tempt fate with spider venom as well 😔

I would love to see how you get her in the container prior to rehousing her :) How long after getting her into the container before you rehouse? Does it help to give them some time after catching them?
I put her in the tub about 30 seconds before we started filming 😂👍
Dave, do you have an E. Pachypus? Have yet to see you do anything with one.😢
Not anymore 😊
If I could only keep one tarantula.... this would probably be the one.
Finally🎉🎉🎉pokies
were you thinking of P. Regalis? Indian ornamental
Yes, it's man flu season. Anyways, we miss our spider videos.
I am sad that you have not gone out to get more beastie dirt with all of the good nutrients in it.
Would the other pokey you was referring to be the p.rufilata?
👍👍👍👍
😍🥰🤩
If you keep it in the pot eventually the roots will run out of space to furnish and the plant will die.
I wonder if you get credit for every time I watch your videos? If I fall asleep I rewatch the entire video!
She is a big 1 an pretty 😂 ..
Pokies!
Some of your plants are far too big for the terrarium. And if you cannot give them a good amount of water they're not going to survive. 😊
Had mine for almost two years now an she Giant lol 😂
upwardly mobile beasties

I bought a pair of these 2 years ago with the intention of breeding them, she ate the male on the second introduction and died a month later
😂😂😂😂 Jesus Christ😂
