  • Robert started experiencing Multiple Sclerosis symptoms aged 29 and he was diagnosed 18 years ago with RRMS. Although initially his neurologist team wasn't sure whether Robert had Primary progressive MS or RRMS, they did finally diagnose him with RRMS. Robert then transitioned into secondary progressive MS 6 years ago.
In this video Robert shares his story with his initial symptoms, how he felt about his diagnosis, what treatments he has tried, what challenges he faces with his MS, what exercise and diet he chooses to do and what how life has changed because of MS.
Robert and I met through Instagram through a commonality of sharing the same disease - MS. The wealth of support on that platform for me has been overwhelming and I not only have a support group, but I have people who I can truly call good friends.

We need to have a care package for patients that get newly diagnosed. To point in the right direction for example: phone # of disability lawyers, mentors #s to reach out too. A list of question to ask for their next providers.....anything else?
