Right on. I’ve been dealing with this for months now and my doctor, the last time I went to see them, said everything was fine. But it doesn’t feel fine. I’m still dealing with the same old shit almost everyday.

@@coldblizzard5880 I’ve been told that I’m “fine” for six years. It was ME who figured out that it is probably MS. We’ll see when I see the neurologist in May. I’m pretty sure, though. I had no idea before but I knew I wasn’t “fine.” I hope you get it figured out!

Just as I started going through testing for MS, my wife of 15 years told me she's leaving. At first, I selfishly wanted to tell her so she might not leave. Now I'm glad she was able to sidestep this landmine before being permanently stuck with someone she doesn't love.

I think I have MS. I have a drop foot on the right side, and trick knee on the left. I have no strength in my left leg. Can not lift myself from the floor on my left leg. Numbness, tingling, pain twinges, electric shocks...I spent entire year seeing army of doctors and specialists. Had X-rays, MRIs, Brain scans, EKGs, nerve conductivity tests, 130 different blood tests...no diagnosis. No medications.
Not a single doctor is in charge of this. I am just being passed from one to the next. Months go by between appointments. No one cares...I get my 15 minutes per visit and then get pushed out.
I even went to ER twice determined to stay there until they find what is wrong. No, no such luck.
They don't look for or treat the root cause. Only the symptoms... I am basically on my own...

Doubtful a cure will be found as most of its sufferers are women. Which can keep the flare-ups at Bay apparently but what's the damage is done apparently it's done and because Ms presents differently in every single person it's really hard to pin down and diagnose the most you can do is get an MRI of your brain and spine. I'm 47 I was diagnosed a year or two ago and it took being so bad that they thought I was having a stroke they did the right tests and realized it's not a stroke it's MS and I've had symptoms for decades

I’m so tired of the medical field. I’ve had something wrong with me for years here lately it’s gotten really bad I go to the hospital they told me there’s nothing wrong with me. It’s anxiety about four years ago. I was having really bad stomach pains and I went to the doctor told me there’s nothing wrong I went to another doctor told me there’s nothing wrong. Finally I went to emergency room and they were getting ready to release me and I broke down and started crying and said I’m gonna die. I don’t know what the Hells wrong with me oh this woman did a blood test on me and they found it, my heart was being damaged. I had troponins in my blood so long story short they put me on blood pressure medicine which made me feel even worse. I start doing my own research and found that anemia and vitamin deficiencies can cause heart issues so I’ve started taking vitamins and I started getting better, but my symptoms of being tired I’ll be walking and my leg just feels like it disappears for a few minutes and I’ll try not to fall. I get tingling in my hands and the doctors keep telling me there’s nothing wrong with me and I know the difference between anxiety and something being wrong but apparently doctors don’t so I’m starting to suspect MS and I need to figure out how to approach a doctor so they’ll actually Tessman listen because you can’t just go get tested on your own you have to get a referral.

How I wish more videos and media would educate doctors, nurses and the everyday public about MS. It’s surprising how many healthcare professionals are clueless about this disease. Back in February, I had surgery for Thyroid cancer. Anesthesia does a number on the brain, especially post-op. I had severe tremors, and a group of nurses accused me of being an alcoholic: completely humiliating. Even though I kept emphasizing I have MS, they wouldn’t stop. I don’t want special treatment, just for medical personnel to educate themselves, and for others to realize we’re not lazy.

    Hi
I would like to know why we don't see more research with foods and supplements, once we can find in Pubmed, basic research about MS, in animal models, etc. , still without scientific foundation, but that deserves trials in humans, once are foods and natural supplements, that can have side effects, but under medical supervision, in controlled trials. the doctors can do safe research, (and randomized double blind) i with ginger, genistein ( or even soy), curcumin, etc.
(in the site of Pubmed or even in Google, when we do some search with the words multiple sclerosis and ginger, or genistein and multiple sclerosis, or curcumin and MS, or Boswellia Serrata and multiple sclerosis, we can find the research articles.
But all these supplements can have antiplatelets mechanisms, and can causes coagulation disorders, between others side effects.
Please, this is not a prescription and in no way a suggestion to use such things.
It is only a question to the doctors of this channel.
Do not takes none supplements, once all can cause side effects and have interactions with medicine drugs that the patient is taking , etc.
No one never would try to treat so serious disease as multiple sclerosis with such foods or supplements without medical supervision and prescription.
Only the doctor of the patient can gives the prescription of foods, supplements and drugs to patients with any disease, and mainly MS.
