- The Blue Demons took a 19-7 record into their regular-season finale against the rival Irish on Senior Night at the Rosemont Horizon. The Demons' NCAA tournament bid was all but assured, but the Irish were 14-12 and likely needed to win this game and their finale against Evansville to stay in the tournament discussion. A sell-out crowd of 17,623 (including me) packed into the building for another chapter in the DePaul-Notre Dame rivalry. The Blue Demons held on for a 66-65 victory, thanks to a technical foul on Irish coach John MacLeod with 2.2 seconds to play. Stephen Howard's career-high 31st point was the difference. DePaul finished 20-9 and won the Great Midwest Conference regular-season title but lost in the first round of the conference tournament and the NCAA tournament. Notre Dame finished 18-15 and lost in the title game of the NIT.
Please post more of DePaul with Stephen Howard love so see my uncle put in work.

LMMFAO, this was during the time that DePaul was in a conference and ND wasn't. LOLZ!
Pleeeeease make sure to upload the rest of this. Such a great feeling to see a sold out crowd in the horizon where about 500 people now go to every game
The rest is coming. The second half will be in two parts, the second of which is filled with drama.
