- The inaugural game of the newly formed Great Midwest Conference -- the DePaul Blue Demons vs the Memphis State Tigers. First game of the 1991-92 season for both teams. The opening of a new basketball arena, the "Tomb of Doom" Memphis Pyramid. The debut of Memphis Stats's Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway. New ESPN color-analyst and former NC State coach Jim Valvano. Great crowd. And to top it all off, DePaul pulls out a victory in overtime! Lots of recognizable names: Booth, Howard, Kleinschmidt, Hardaway, Vaughn, etc.
Had a tough time uploading this from an old VHS tape, but glad I got it to work (a few fuzzy/blurry moments). Very fun memory for me. - กีฬา
Thank you for the upload!
Penny first college game. I was glued to the television
Even at his most atrocious game, Penny could hit some clutch shots. Born for basketball
The Tomb of Doom!
lol Do you just post games DePaul won?
