3:11 , I always wondered this I was born again last summer, and I’ve always gone to a Catholic Church but as I continued in my faith and Christianity, I realize there’s a lot of flaws are in the Catholic Church but the Eucharist always intrigued me and I think it should be a part of regular Christian faith but I always wondered how do priests know that they’re turning their bread and wine into the body and blood of Jesus just like he did in that one passage, that explained it well for me, I still don’t think you need the Eucharist for salvation, though, just repent and believe mark 1:15, Ethiopians2:8-9

I would think part of believing, perhaps the biggest part, is doing as Jesus commands, because even He says, " why do you say Lord Lord but do not do as I command," and then says " Amen Amen, unless you eat the flesh and drink the blood of the son of man you have no life within you." Now, I think God's power is not restricted to only those who know about and can receive the Eucharist, but I do think it applies to those who know that the Eucharist really is His body and blood. What do you make of those verses?
@@Esch-a-ton3 those verses are interesting, I don’t think he is talking about literally blessed piece of bread and wine In those verses tho (it had been a long time since I have read that chapter so I am probably wrong), if I remember correctly, I don’t think Jesus even had physical food with him when he said that, so I think it was more like when Jesus was at the well with the Samaritan woman, and he said that he could give her living water where she wouldn’t have to drink again, and he clearly wasn’t talking about literal water, but in a spiritual sense
@@bsan7070 🤨 Jesus _had_ physical water present at the well... it's a well. "Give me to drink." And as for chapter 6, "...The bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world," which He certainly had.😉
@@john-paulgies4313 imma take this passage as literal as I can(not trying to be rude, but I’m just trying to learn and clear of misconceptions) if Jesus was literally telling them to eat his body and drink his blood, they would be repulsed by it, bc drinking blood and cannibalism are both horrible sins in the testament. That must be the reason why a large crowd left him(I think that’s what happens In this passage), but the disciples must have seen a deeper spiritual meaning. I can see this as like how Jesus blood washed our sins away, we don’t take a shower with his physical blood but we are cleansed in a spiritual way, and if we don’t partake in accepting the book of Jesus then our sins will not be cleansed. That is were my head is at, correct me where I’m wrong
