I love watching the sweet old pup. I’m sitting here with my girl. She’s 16 1/2 and she’ll be leaving me within the next few days. I’m gonna be lost without her! Hug your sweet girl tightly we are lucky to have them in our lives
I had my sweet baby from 6 weeks to 16 1/2 years. It still hurts when I see her pictures, even after 2 years.

I would close the holes in the concrete steps. With them being a flat surface they will hold water. When you get freezing temperatures it will cause the concrete to crack and fall apart. ❤
I love how Martina keeps her work area clean and takes care of her tools. I laughed when she was digging out the mountain 'cause that's something I would do, rather than buying fill (that's what is done in the US). As always, I really enjoyed watching these videos 👍♥

HI Dear Martina. Greetings from South-America Suriname. Neighbor of Brazil North Side. I am a huge fan of you. Here never snowing😊it is a tropical country. I watch your video’s when I’m free of time. Those steps in front of your home are incredible awesome. Maybe you could cement a non-slippery tales on the steps so when it’s wet it do no harm to nobody. I am a kind of carpentary but mostly woods lumbers plywoods etc but I am weak in concrete cement work. Blis is so funny when you wanna go out she don’t want to climb on the backcar😁okay have a nice day further bye👋🏼👍🏻

Just use concrete/tile sealer - will stop water penetrating, and stop any cracking due to freezing temperatures.

Awesome progress, Martina. Not just this week but I've been thinking back over the last year. What you have achieved in that time is astounding. I'm thinking was it this time last year you were building the fireplace? Loving what you are doing in the back yard. Have you tried doing the sanding when it is lightly raining? Is it any easier? Better for keeping the dust down. I dunno, just an idea.
Not good, surface have to be dry, otherwise grinder gets messy and everything stick on...

If you push a sander against the wood, the concrete will be evenly distributed
Awesome you are becoming a master at cementing ... sorry I didn't get to see your video before today, I went to visit my brother he has lung and brain cancer, he wasn't doing good so he had to go to the hospital, he has pneumonia so I brought his dog home with me, she is 13 just like Blis and is a cattle dog, I haven't had a dog in my house for 30 years, she sleeps too much and doesn't want to do anything.... LOL... but anyway loved the video,your work is top notch and I will see ya in the next ...😄

You could place wb beside dirt mount and let the jack hammer soil fall into the wb hehe.
And fill the wb in the direction you will move. Dont fill it then turn around .Thanks

After sanding the concrete steps at your front door they will be slippery when wet....... ;)
👍you can acid etch the concrete with masonry cleaner or patio cleaner, or u can get industrial grade acid cleaner but not in UK any more, 80 s 90s u could, anyway I'm talking too much

Martina, I had to research chestnuts and found there is a sweet chestnut, good for eating and a horse chestnut, poisonous to dogs and humans... don't eat. Glad to see you had the sweet chestnut.
