It makes me laugh that Anneke, (Catspector) had to walk over everything to make sure each step was done properly. You two are doing such a wonderful job.
Yea its funny... still... we have to remind ouerself that this is basically annekes home. No wonder she is always looking what you do. Hopefully she doesnt get any health issues from cleaning her paws by licking concret.. Imagine a future archaelogist in.. around 300 years, stumbling over anneckes pawprints..
What an amazing day's work, that herculean effort was stunning, well done Illia! Anneke was greatly concerned that the transition of her private bathroom to a room for her new human family should progress smoothly and to her satisfaction. She seemed well satisfied, leaving her seals of approval for future generations of catspectors to see. She will need a super deluxe litterbox suitable for a ladylike cat of her stature to reward her sacrifice and atone for the loss of her private facilities. We surely can't expect the queen of the castle to be reduced to using the public outdoors like any ordinary, common cat! 🙀
Somebody had a very productive week. It was hard work but you did it with smiles and fun attitude. Fact is, you two are our favorite fun channel to follow. The home is taking shape! 👍👍👍
That's a very, very thorough inspector you have monitoring your work. And what a lot of hard work it was too. As usual you've done a wonderful job. Well done! [I especially enjoyed the inspector's sign off signature(s), everyone will know you've passed with the highest marks.]
Tip for the next time: a little surface rust on rebar is no problem at all. After all, the concrere is is pretty wet so it will be rusting a little anyway.
Actually a bit of surface rust is better, it minimises the amount of rust forming when inside the concrete and gives a better adhesion between concrete and rebar. Concrete after all has basic (like caustic soda) properties and inhibits further forming of rust once all the moisture is bound in the cement.
I would not sleep the night before a concrete pour like. I am imagining all the things that could go wrong. 😨 I felt better when I saw it was not a massive truck dumping it down a chute through an open window. It was a relief to see you had it all under control.
@@DeHoeveOldBelgianFarm Look at dis cat. She is soooo pissed off that her kitty litter tray/room has been destroyed. At least she didnt do what one of my cats did which was to dig a hole in the wet concrete and do a number 2 job 💩then proceeded to bury it. It will just be a reminder of a pretty girl who kept you company whilst doing a build. PS the no 2 was removed however the concrete just took so much longer to set oh and he was a black and white puddie too. ,
Just a thought but why dont you put a wheelie bin next to the mixer and put the empty cement bags in as you use them? just have to wheel it out then lol. job well done
I have been with this family from almost the beginning and I am starting if they will ever get to live in this old home ? All the hard work that they are doing , they must get frustrated some time..I don't think I would ever begin a project as hard as this.. The work they have done so far is great and sometimes beautiful.. I wish them all the luck kn their endeavour ..
Great job. Your concrete mixer will last much longer if you only add the mix when it is running. Starting it up with a load already in it, puts a lot of strain on the motor, and will eventually burn it out.
I absolutely love the little inspector prints that were left behind. You will have some great stories to tell forever about your furry inspector! Great job this week!
I knew you were going to find cat prints in the cement. I would say Anneke did an inspection and approved the work done. Well done. Another great video.
Don’t worry about surface rust it cause’s no problem. Hand mixing concrete is brutal work by yourself, I’ve mixed a few tons myself. Great work. By the way, Lumy Habitat ( in French) has a video that talks about rusty rebar. 👍
I saw checkin for levels with a tape measure would it be helpful for you to make a jig with the metal used for the concrete floor making the grating a little deeper than what you need and add a 2x4 to the top for a handle you work hard enough it would great if a least you had one easy thing that might help🤷♂️ your both doing amazing work and look for to each post to see the latest transformation Thanks for sharing
Yeah surface rust is not an issue. Only when the rust starts flaking is when you need to be concerned - but that takes many months before that starts to happen
If the goal is to build a lifetime and never finish the construction, then in an arctic climate like yours, you need to put three layers of film and four layers of thermal insulation!
1:12 : Ha! I recognized that thin plastic foil immediately. About the same stuff as sandwich bags. Bought it once, and never repeated that mistake. Always went for the sturdier option. Much more manageable and fit-for-use.
Ilia? I know its done now but for the next beton action: take a small amount of water from the next batch and bring it in the mill. So the drum will be selfcleaning for the next round.
Catspector is not doing a good job. He should at least ensure that Ilia is wearing a mask when pouring things into the mixer. The dust is no joke and will take a toll on the lungs. You can avoid placing stones below the iron bars by lifting the section that you pour on and ensuring that you do not step on it. Overall you are doing a good job. Also this is very entertaining. Good luck!!!
In America we call the “iron bar” for concrete-rebar. I’m waiting for the cat to kick you out of her house.😂 She’ll had a rude awakening when she’s on the outside looking in. No more entire house litter box.
Thanks for another video. However, for 3 tonnes of concrete it is possibly cheaper and definitely much easier and better quality to get it delivered. Especially if you get your materials from 'den hubo', even with their -15% coupons. Or was there a reason I missed? Also, when doing such a large concrete pour, it is really useful to have a laser. Succes!

🤣paw of approval from chef inspector 🙂
That cat is something !!!
Ilya, the man who can do anything! Cement mixer breaks, no problem!
I’m glad you passed your very thorough inspection! 😁♥️
That smile at the end was priceless!! Cat prints are her stamp of approval
What an amazing day's work, that herculean effort was stunning, well done Illia!

Ah yes, concrete work. Been doing a lot of that too. Nice work Ilia.
Great video editing too. You two rock and so does the Catspector
And her presence in the house will be felt underfoot for at least another century. Well done Anneke and Ilia
Seals of approval! The floor has passed inspection!
Somebody had a very productive week. It was hard work but you did it with smiles and fun attitude. Fact is, you two are our favorite fun channel to follow. The home is taking shape! 👍👍👍
That's one hard working man right there.

I am so impressed by all the skills Ilia shows! And how much hard work is going into the house!
Hard Work...
Great Job...
Concrete, Welding and Muscle in one video.
Always enjoy your videos...
The inspector seems determined to leave their imprint on your hard work. Great job by the way.
Well done Illia, i tell you what, you definitely dont need the gym. In years to come as you sit in your recliner, you can say we did this 😊

Great job! Can’t believe you did all the concrete by yourself! 😊. Cat inspector sure did a great job!
It's funny how cats have been inspecting wet concrete since Roman times 😂
I would not sleep the night before a concrete pour like. I am imagining all the things that could go wrong. 😨 I felt better when I saw it was not a massive truck dumping it down a chute through an open window. It was a relief to see you had it all under control.
Loving you still using my like and subscribe to help any over exposure! 🇺🇦
That was a great idea! Thank you so much for suggesting it!

Your industry, dedication, and patience are amazing - yours and Anneke's. Congratulations!

Чувак дело говорит. В инструкции к бетономешалке так и пишут: загружать только на включенном моторе!
That house will still be standing 200 years from now!
I absolutely love the little inspector prints that were left behind. You will have some great stories to tell forever about your furry inspector! Great job this week!
Illlia you did it! Concrete poured and Cat Inspector approved. That was a hard days work.
And you are smiling. Thanks for the video.
Catspector checking perimeter. All good! 😻
The catspector at work 😂
Aw Hi Annika, nice to see you! You look healthy, 😊
Loved seeing Anneke periodically checking on your work😂❤
I knew you were going to find cat prints in the cement. I would say Anneke did an inspection and approved the work done. Well done. Another great video.
The painting up on the wall made everything look surreal.
Oh my Illia such hard work I have been with you for a long long time such beautiful work
Wow, this is absolutely huge! Congrats!
And I knew, I just knew that the Catspector would leave her marks! 😂 😂 😂

You work so hard, If you get a Bull Float on a long pole, you can make your work nice and smooth. This will make it a lot better on your back too.
"Anneke woz 'ere!" seriously though i'm tired from just watching him go !
Glad to see that the catspector is on the job!😊
Wow!! What hard day's work - but rewarding as well!! Admiration for your perseverance and teamwork!! Love watching your videos!!!❤

I’ve developed bad back pain watching this video 😊
Inspector couldn't help herself, concrete inspection is too tempting! 😂 What an amazing work for just 1 day! 🥳
Very good job to of both you for you on your floorsthat was a lot of work, and catspector, for being very vigilant in this video
Wonderful hard work ilia you are amazing. John from Scotland 🏴
He's an amazing worker! I hope he gets to enjoy the fruits of his labor soon!
Well done 👍
Anneke is doing a marvellous job
Admire your hard work!
Amazing work is finished, well done!!! ❤ and Catspector 🤣🤣🤣 genius 😻👷
You work very hard!
There is no need to remove rust from tempering steel
It is always rusty and that is intended 😉
It's true, rust is even better tegen brand new steel for concrete work
Yeah surface rust is not an issue. Only when the rust starts flaking is when you need to be concerned - but that takes many months before that starts to happen
I love your smile!
Your Cat has a wonderful time, Lot of Things are Happening and she Likes to BE everywhere. Wish you
Good luck!
Aneke is an exemplary construction supervisor.
Great progress!
WOW! Hard and great job! Bravo!
Anneke analiysing properly every Ilia's work, and approve.. She's a supercat 😄

Thank you 👍🙂
Amazing work you have done !

Outstanding Craftsmanship!😇!😇!😇I!😇!
Thanks for the video!
Good work :)
been watching you from the start, and learning from you some DIY construction techniques
Вы большие молодцы. Дай вам бог всего наилучшего в жизни на новой родине и поменьше разочарований. 🇷🇺🇺🇦🇺🇿
As always a nice job!
Anneke was just pacing out how much electrical conduit to put on the shopping list and mapping out where to install it 😉🍻
❤ from Hungary.
22:08 i knew it.....🙃❤
The cleaning up segments are sooooo satisfying ;)
Радію разом з вами
I enjoyed watching Ilia working in time to the music.
All my respect for Ilya. Hard job. But I would have just ordered pre-made concrete.
'On the Trail' by Tigerblood Jewel.
Rocking Ilia. Who would have guessed. What's next? Leather boots and a motorcycle? 😁🎸🏍
Respect, I mixed 2.5 tons of concrete in 1 day and repaired the mixer in the same place :D
😁 the history repeats itself
Lots of hard work. Nice job.
Ilia? I know its done now but for the next beton action: take a small amount of water from the next batch and bring it in the mill. So the drum will be selfcleaning for the next round.
Looks so good❤️🙏🙂
2 years ago you did the same in the house? Is the house so big or ?I thought you did partly move in?
Good Cat Work 👍

nice
The by-product of a good job - a big mess. 👏
To much hard work hope you don’t hurt yourself
concrete is warm as it cures, cats love warm spots to sit/sleep on, it was always going to be a cat magnet
The Catinspector can confirm:
Job done approved 😂
❤😊great job😊
Wonderful job but I don't think Anika is impressed how is she going to poop in concrete. That was her bathroom. 😂
Yes, she was greatly concerned that the transition of her private bathroom to a room for her new human family should progress smoothly and to her satisfaction.
She will need a super deluxe litterbox suitable for a cat of her stature to reward her sacrifice and atone for the loss of her private facilities.
Your vibrator will level the concrete ..When its close to dry - then trowel the surface flat.
The beauty lies in its function. Beauty is as beauty does.
I love what you say, it is so true (function v/s aesthetics)
Rust use a cheapest oil ❤regards from Tokyo…😊
And when will you remove the cobwebs from the kitchen windows ?
