      I agree. This song is John's interpretation of a poem written during WWII by Elma Dean. John provided some additional lyrics and the melody. It is indeed a beautiful sentiment against a horrible practice...war.

    Yes, John's voice is still so good. I know with age, voices change but John's voice has changed very little from his earlier days, (at least to me.)
