I love how the Mom in the Vermont story responds to a spirit trying to crash a child's birthday by paying it as little attention as possible and going on with her life. That is the perfect reaction, if you can get away with it.
“He still cries whenever we go past that house” take the poor boy on a different route omg Edit: omg I’m aware most stories here aren’t real, no shit, but the point of listening to them is to suspend disbelief and enjoy it
Any time I watch an artist draw/paint/etc, I think, "I would have thought it was really good a long time ago." I can't comprehend how they think and continue to add and make it better.
Well you see, once you stare at it long enough, it looks like crap, so you need to make it look acceptable. Though, more often than not, it’s the idea you have in your head for the art. The art you see in your head and the art in front of you is still different, and you want to make it as close to the mind art as possible.
When you get done with the series, you should start it all over again! Do every single state a second time around. It’s my favorite series of all time!
@HearthCricket Exactly what I was thinking. It's kind of sad to be that desperately fake, as soon as she grabbed a ouija board, totally checked out for the rest of the way.
I don't see why it's fake. She couldn't find something to put cake on, and in the heat of the moment decided to just use the first hard thing she saw and hurried back upstairs to return to the bday celebration.
I get SO nervous whenever these stories involve animals especially dogs. My heart broke just hearing that faint whimpering sound but then it also melted when the narrator adopted him and then the sheer relief when the dog made it to the end of the tale alive 🐶 ❤️
My girl thinks I'm a weirdo (in a non-creepy way. Her words, not mine) because I listen to horror stuff b4 bed. She makes me wear buds because it all scares her shitless.
As soon as I heard Manistee River I knew it was Dogman. I grew up in Northeast Michigan and the radio stations play the Dogman story constantly before Halloween. I actually lived a few miles from the river for a few years as a kid and people told stories about it all the time. Creepy stuff.
That's why I'm here haha I saw Michigan and I was like 👀 I'm in Cadillac so yeah, every fall it was "A cool summer morning in early June, is when the legend began, at a nameless logging camp in Wexford County, where the Manistee River ran." On the bus in the mornings 😂
