Alii and welcome to my channel. Today I'm showing you one of the techniques of making your own grass skirt.

There are only two items used to make your own skirt:
1.scissors
2. plastic raffia (found in Chinese stores or ebay: www.ebay.com/itm/25-Yard-Bundl...)

Soooo I have a She Shed made from pallets & bamboo.... I've been buying Thatch each year for the roof over hang & it's very expensive 🥴 ... Thank you ❤️ because I just found an less expensive way to make my she shed look more exotic 💯🎯❤️😘🌹

Hi, do you know how many yards of plastic raffia did you spend to do your skirt please? Need to do one urgent but want to order enough raffia cause don't have time to wait for a second order. Thank you.

Linda Ps I think the single roll is 80 yd and I used a 1 and half roll. So I think im safe with 100 yds. Just buy more then you can use the leftovers again some other time. It's better to have more than less. I apologize I can't give you a clear answer, I hope it works out. 😀

how many rolls do you need to make the skirt for the entire dancer ?

I used two rolls for me and I had a little bit of extra. I’d say two rolls.

Helen Ianuari I'm not sure exactly what it's called but it's like plastic ribbon. You can find them in Asian market. Try Chinese town or other Asian stores.
