I've watched Cenk ever since he was on MSNBC and the way he interprets the political scene stays constant. If and when the day comes that he betrays his own viewpoint, I'll reconsider. But, no matter his funding mix, today I'm totally supportive of him. He's always been a straight shooter. And he's heads and tails above CNN and MSNBC.

Cenk didn't predict a Hillary win...he specifically "Called" the election for Hillary stating that Trump no longer had a chance...also touting that he was officially calling the election for Hillary before any other media outlet. I was going to post a link here for you, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised that that video is now gone.

Kigondol Cenk is on so much and this election was a huge topic. It makes sense that he'd say different things at different times. But he was on the major news networks calling it so maybe that's the point cause no one else did. Most news stations, along with the people that truly love what this country is about, watched in shock and disbelief when he won...people weren't prepared. It felt like waking up to news of a natural disaster.

But he has also been very consistent in his opinion that Trump could win and that Democrats were in denial and running the campaign wrong. The only time he made a concrete prediction -- i.e. without caveat --- that was categorically wrong was after the drop Trump took from the sexual harassment scandal and just before the Comey announcement of reopening the of the email investigation. And you have to admit that was a bit of a wild card to happen right before the election.

+Richard Large He is a winner in the same way George Bush was in 2000 - by not winning a majority of the people's vote. He basically managed to get in by taking advantage of the unfair way our system is built.
Not to split hairs here but Bush II was appointed by the Supreme Court. It wasn't so much because of the electoral college issue but because the voting in Florida was illegally rigged. His brother Jeb! as you may recall was governor there. Read Bush v Gore if you've got the time...
After Florida finished the recounts, it turned out Bush won Florida.
It wasn't illegally rigged. The problem was in Palm Beach County where the butterfly ballot gave a very weird high number of votes to Pat Buchanan. If you look at all the counties throughout the state, you see Pat didn't win that much, but in Palm Beach where thousands were complaining about the ballot, Pat got a lot more than he should have, and Palm Beach is one of the major democratic counties.

I've been on board with Cenk since the start, really. My dad a journalist to the state of Wisconsin who taught news analysis on radio and he taught me prescience! He was more fearful of this kind of thing happening and was attacked periodically for the strength of his views; over the years, he was found to be far more often right than wrong.

I voted for Trump.
He was not my first choice. But here is what happened with me.
When the races started... I looked at the candidates and the one that appealed to me most was Bernie Sanders. Now I'm a conservative (In general). But I pretty much knew where he stood on issues right off the bat. I didn't get that sense from the other candidates... except for Paul. So I vacillated between the two, generally falling with the Sanders crowd. By the time the Primaries came out... I voted for Sanders.
Later...
After watching/reading/discovering what the DNC did to Sanders... That pissed me right the F**** off. So I began looking at the other candidates. I settled on Trump. At first.... simply cause he had pissed sooooo many groups off (Left/right). For that reason alone. That appealed to me.. because... frankly.. that was how I was feeling.
Watching the media (TV/Articles)... watching how... they literally campaigned for the DNC for their pick.. just sickened me.
I actually went to a Trump rally... And the energy there was.. overwhelming. Outside of the rally... I saw how .. potentially violent his opponents could be.. After discovering that in most cases.. those folks were bought and paid for to incite the violence... this made me adamant in supporting Trump. I refused to be bullied.. as many others thought as well I think in hindsight.
Now we're starting into Jan. And though I still have reservations about Trump. He's impressed me. Learning more about him.. and watching his actions... I see most of those stories about his demeanor were highly inflated or simply non existent to begin with. So I'm more inclined to a favorable view of him of late.
I still see the media try to attack him.. (Lesson not learned huh?) and his opponents still lose their minds over him.... But I'm less inclined to listening to what they have to say anymore.... and more inclined to pity... Due to the fact.. they haven't learned any lessons. And refuse to grow from this.
This is what change looks like... and it aint pretty for some folks. For some it's a bitter pill to swallow.... but they still take that medicine.. For others... they still continue to live in that bubble that created this whole situation in the first place. unless they wake up and realize they have to work with others they hate.... they're going to be left on the side of the road as relics of a by-gone era....
