Bit baffled by the fact you expect more performance out of their entry level 2 series with only 181bhp. 7 seconds is pretty rapid. This isn’t even supposed to be compared with a golf gti. That is more in line with a 228i.

the side panel reminds me of an old ford escort

A VW GTI kills this thing with ease
But then you have to drive a Golf :/
Go enjoy your golf then. This engine is so detuned, that a simple remap has it up to 270bhp.
