    Great content as always! Waiting for the next one!!!
    My friend who wanted to buy an Interceptor, bought this because most of his rides are to office. Inspite of all my friends insisting him to check KTM Adv. We'd been on a ride to Chikmagalur last week, he thoroughly enjoyed riding on the ghats and weaving through traffic as we entered Bengaluru. He loves his motorcycle and we couldn't stop appreciating the quality levels that RE have achieved with this motorcycle.

    i recently bought the meteor 350.took many test rides of the hunter and meteor before booking the meteor. the hunter is a great commuter in the city ,without a doubt. the riding and seating position was a bit uncomfortable specially during longer rides.if you are planning to buy the hunter, just swap its handlebar with the meteors. it is going to make and huge difference is the riding position and will be better for touring.

    Thank you for the great review. I have been using this bike since January and have already covered more than 3500 kilometres. While I appreciate your feedback, I would like to mention a couple of points that were missed in your review.
    Firstly, I find the clutch to be quite hard or harsh, especially when riding in a city environment. This can be a bit tiring over time. Additionally, I have noticed that the shocks on the bike are quite firm, which means that speed breakers and ditches can feel uncomfortably close while riding.
    Despite these concerns, I must say that I love the bike overall. However, I wanted to highlight these issues for your reference. Another minor issue I have is with the handbar and the sitting position, which could be improved for better comfort. ( I have heard that changing it for Meteor Handlebar can negate the issue)
    Thank you once again for your review, and I hope this feedback helps provide a well-rounded perspective on the bike.

    • @bigbearbangalore

      Thank you for the feedback. Yes we left out a few points, some actually missed, some did not bother us so did not mention them and some left out in the interest of time.

    Sort of a well rounded machine. In my 1700kms of commute, it fits all of my requirements - Very agile and nimble, excellent tractability (can do 30-80 with ease in third gear), standing on the foot pegs on bad patches, decent brakes, can go till 110 with ease and the suspension is good enough for a slightly heavier person like me

I travel from Coimbatore to Bangalore (320 Kms one way) once or twice in a month. It goes like a charm. I take max 2 breaks. Cruising between 80 to 100 is a sweet spot.

    I'm so conflicted. I was so set on getting this, but I live in Catskill Mountains in upstate New York. I love the bike appearance so much, and the weight and the more forward controls and the price! I keep telling myself it will work out, but in my heart, I know I'm lying to myself. I don't know what they were thinking. They have a 411cc engine on the Scram that I think would've suited the Meteor so much better and gave it that extra it really needs. Or they should've designed the 350 engine better because you should be able to get much more from a 350cc. Honda Rebel 300 gets much more and it's I think a 289cc engine! It has more horse and top end. But the Rebel is ugly as hell to me, so I wouldn't even consider it, but it's a better performing bike with a smaller engine than Meteor. I wish the Meteor had 30 hp and 25 lbs of torque and topped at 85 mph. That would've made the Meteor much more appealing and reasonable. Highways are unavoidable in the US.

      @@bigbearbangalore's for people who love to "throw" their weight around while commuting, and don't mind their legs being behind a heat sink 😂......but jokes apart, wouldn't it qualify as an "affordable middleweight" commuter, albeit with some ergonomic mods, for those looking for something bigger than hunter 😊!?

      Some brands and models are akin to male jewellery to show and flaunt. And that's OK. That's how we humans have evolved. Cheers!

    No sore shoulders ?? Isn't the suspension very hard and would still cause sore body and shoulders ??

    • @bigbearbangalore
      @bigbearbangalore  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No sore shoulders. We are motor-heads and so are able to accommodate a wide band of postures and suspensions. Someone coming in from smaller CC and lighter motorcycles may find it harder to adapt to.

    For this weight, the braking is good but I don't think it is sufficient for emergency situation and braking distance is not enough. Front is good but rear braking is weak. It doesn't me confidence.

    What about the heat issue

    • @bigbearbangalore
      @bigbearbangalore  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nothing unusual. It's normal to feel extra heat in summer. Big 350cx air cooled engines do radiate a bit of heat.

    Hello All, Did anyone notice the frame is cut short? There is no frame below engine. Engine is hanging on 2 nuts and bolts. Drop it once, engine will come out. Such a cost cutting makes unreliable .

    • @bigbearbangalore
      @bigbearbangalore  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The frame below the engine is available on the Classic and the Meteor to serve as support for the foot pegs. This design does not need a bottom cradle. Most modern frames are made this way. The engine is a suspended and stressed member of the frame.
      For example the KTMs too don't have the frame running under the engine. Nothing unreliable about this. Cheers!

      Depends on what I wish tondo on the motorcycle. Commute and zip around with occasional long trips, it will be the Hunter. If long trips are the main focus with some commuting, it will be the H'ness.

      I'm doing long rides with mine. aprox 350 KMs one way. It takes 5 to 6 hours depends on the weather, road and of course my mood on that day. It is not the best one for long drive. But at a same time it can do long rides and surprisingly comfortably too.

    Great review as always sir, I own this motorcycle currently and one thing I feel you guys forgot commenting is the engine heat. I'm coming from the 150-200cc segment of motorcycles and I personally feel that the Engine heat is slight on the higher side. Would appreciate if you can comment on the same :)
