man forgot the master cycle zero which is technically a Devine beast but not told in the storyline of 1000 years ago because it was buried and never found unlike the champions ballad it was on the shrine of resurrection the whole time, the DLC was canon.
Why doesn't this have more views? I mean, I haven't seen anyone else cover that. There had to be alot more people wondering the same thing I did about the divine beasts design. Like lizard = Goron how? Or, why is Vah Naboris' face like that. Thank you for this video, very informative! Real real shame it doesn't have more attention
And vah Ruta was my first divine beast in my new main save because how easy it was to get there and the puzzles are kinda hard, boss fight was hard tho
Been a hot minute since I've seen a vid! You nailed it Luke, the quality jump since the last time I watched is easily noticeable. Also I've always loved how the divine beasts referenced older games and their origins. This just making botw 2 even more hype lol
I've been meaning to watch this video for TWO MONTHS! So glad I finally set aside the time to watch it. 😅 • I like to think that the modern Zora are using the elephant wrong. Elephants were originally worshipped in a lava dungeon, so it makes sense it was supposed to spew lava. • (Divine Beast Vah Rudania = Twilight Princess Dodongos) means that (BotW = Child Timeline) 🤣 Don't change my mind. • Glad I was able to help with this theory! You did a great job explaining everything.
this was solid! You really went in depth and covered a lot of ground in terms of discussing BOTW! You definitely ready for BOTW 2 lollll... keep it up my guy!
"Masks" more specifically but yes! I'm also glad they brought it back round. Tied back into their culture irl and the majora mask game in the series ^_^
I actually made 2 Divine Beasts, one was a wolf called Vah Sarin, after Saria, and the other was a tiger Divine Beast called Vah Rari, after Raru the sage of light
Mentioning that Vah Naboris is a mythological creature reminded me of the Satori Spirit. What if Nabooru passed away and turned into a spirit that looks like a camel?
I always thought they were basically mobile cities. Sure, there have egregiously oversized cockpits, but they could still cram a ton of people in other areas. Hell, they may only have weapons as a last resort. “In case of emergency, open fire and gtfo!”
This was definitely worth the watch, all the theories are believable and have good evidence.
I learned more in this 19 minute video than i did this past year of college

now the head of naboris finnally makes sense to me

Thank you very much for the feedback! One can dream for more views! lol
I think Vah Rudania was modelled after a fireproof lizard.
I mean if I saw something with two humps I’d think it’d be mythological too...
🤔
Vah Naboris always makes me think of the Ark of the Covenant, because they can both kill you with electricity.
And vah Ruta was my first divine beast in my new main save because how easy it was to get there and the puzzles are kinda hard, boss fight was hard tho

Thank you my brudda I appreciate the feedback! Glad you enjoyed and let's get hype for BOTW2 news soon.🙌
Oooh been looking forward to this one
Edit: very well done. You did your research man. This was a really interesting watch through and through.
Thank you Daniel! Appreciate the feedback. :D
Dragon roost islands theme sounds like the rito theme in totk when you first enter rito
This Divine Beast looked like an 'Elephant, Salamander, Eagle, and Camel' to build like mechanical animals in this game series.
I always thought of them as not mechanical sages, but both a weapon against the Calamity as well as a temple of worship... which is why they're so big

Thank you for the help with it dude!
Missed opportunity for Age of Calamity: make the four Devine beasts combine into a mega-zord. Don't ask me how they'd fit, just make it happen
I wish this happened in tears of the kingdom.
@UltraNexus2004 And then Mineru pilots the mega-zord

Thank you for the comment Mr. Kewl! Always appreciate your feedback, especially since you're not into Zelda that much. Much love homie.
Great video man good work
And why specifically choose THOSE designs, especially for Vah Ruta and Vah Rudania?
Vah Medoh and (maybe) Vah Naboris are relatively easy to explain.
The blueprints were lost to time.
Came literally from the Sages in Tears of the Kingdom. No theorizing... (patience is a virtue ^_^)
The heads did.
"Masks" more specifically but yes! I'm also glad they brought it back round. Tied back into their culture irl and the majora mask game in the series ^_^
@swizzamane8775
I meant that the Divine Beasts’ heads were modelled after the Zonai Sages’ masks.
@@myleswelnetz6700
Agreed. And I was adding that clarification for those that thought it was more literal 😄

wish there was like "baby divine beast" that's just a shrunken version of said divine beast that you could play with
What about the Master Cycle Zero?
Here's a thought. Maybe Vah Medoh is modeled after a kargarok. They apear to be extinct like dodongos and used to roam Dragon Roost island.
I heard a theory one time that nobaris was based off something in star wars.
AT-ATs

Wait, those things in the Earth Temple were ELEPHANTS!? I thought they were birds!
They were all chosen based on gameplay mechanics.
So with totk does this theory fall thru
Let' be honest here, Vah Ruta is the best Devine Beast
What Divine is bored, winning a fight?
Salamander bro
i think gaurdians are desighned to be octipus
It's not a lizard it's a salamander
Possibly it came from the ancient past
Varuda vametto Va rudania and vanbaboris
wow
