@@mrexeptionel9530 It honestly feels like a product of its time that came out ten years too late. The shooting was (mostly) fun when it let you do it, but the game was full of things which would have been amazing if it actually came out in 2001 but felt super played out and tedious when it actually came out, driving segments, strip club minigames, overly long 'cinematic' moments etc. I really enjoyed all the little callbacks, though.
Anthem had a playable demo/beta before release, anyone that played that and still bought the game only has themselves to blame. It was their own inability to control hype, a personal response to often painfully obvious marketing, that caused them to carry on regardless.
I saw "Action Loot Shooter, in the vein of Destiny by the developers behind "Mass Effect" and i said to myself "Nope, i will wait and see." I am so glad i did that.
My issue was I played the demo, enjoyed it, like I loved the actually gameplay but then when it released and we found there wasnt much more to the main game and its 90% doing the same 3 dungeons over and over it was such a let down
So the reason why I like all the res games is because of the lore.... I like red 6 because if u read the lore and put it together with the previous games and lore, it was showing how the virus was adapting, but no one ever mentions that...yeas the sequences in the game were a bit to action but I like it for what it is
KH3 was the game that falls under this category for me. First 2 hours were awesome - then... I just didn’t care. I was going through the motions and was waiting for the game to pick me up like 1 or 2. I played most of the spin offs and even they were better constructed than what we got. I literally felt nothing from the second world onward and finished the game while shrugging my shoulders. I told myself maybe I wasn’t in the same headspace, etc. but no: I know now that the game itself was beyond a disappointment.
While it's not my cup of tea, I do admire the makers of SHENMEHHHH for sticking to their guns to honour the previous games design. I think they were going for a design similar to the original games... I know times have changed and we've been spoiled by so many amazing stories in games and it was heavily crowdfunded by the fans who feel like they're owed better. But sometimes games get changed to a new format and get tarnished in the process, this could've have to SHENMEHHHHH 3 but it didn't. Much like The Evil Within duo like the first one was a massively gory old school survival horror game THEN the Evil Within 2 pretty much dialed down everything; everything was brighter, everything was a bit less scary in the need to feel like a Modern Horror game.
i think the problem isnt the story, but the design itself is bad and outdated, as the time progresses, the previous tediousness and repetitive design in the original games are just not fun and engaging thus making shenmue 3 as if it was in standstill in the previous era.

I can see your point but only in the modern era have people really complained about the bad design structure of SHENMEHHHHH... Back then people never really did because for the time it was brand new and unique and I can imagine the developers wanted to capture the hearts of minds like they did back then... Same design structure but with a new graphical spitshine. As I said it's not really my cup of tea as I played the SHENMEHHHHH Remastered Collection that came out on PS4 and it was alright but I never really led me by hand. Which leads to my point that we as gamers including me have been spoiled by games that lead us by the hand sort of design structure, with better mechanics. And while I'm thankful for that in a way but I still admire the Developers for sticking to what they know even if it did frizzle the fanbase a lot. I was one of those who looked at Shenmue as the second coming of Christ. I got it at launch but still have yet to start it. RE6 though, was tons of fun playing co op with my brother like we did with RE5. Last Guardian gave me the feels and I cannot deny that despite its jank.
I honestly enjoyed Andromeda. BUT I knew going in that it was going to be different then the others. I actually 100% Andromeda is how much I liked it. Maybe a different frame of mind helped?
Absolutely having a different mindset helped. I remember hearing that the team was using all new software, trying brand new ideas, and to top it all off EA was being the D*ck heads that they are and pushed the team to release it before they were ready. I was also forced to wait almost six months to play it because my motherboard died, so I missed out on all the early glitches. I love the characters and the story, sure it was stagnate in a few places but what video game isn't? I honestly believe that people were just pissed that we were no longer playing Shepard, Andromeda came too soon after the debacle of the ME3 ending, more time should have been given for fans to cool off. All in all if you look at ME:A as a NOT Mass Effect Game it's honestly not a bad game, I've played games that came out in the same year that were better i.e. Horizon Zero Dawn/Psychonauts Rhombus of Ruin and worse i.e. Night In The Woods/Troll and I... That "Night In The Woods" comment might get me some down votes but eh. Andromeda has opened Bioware to the possibility of MORE, the lore for the milky way was sort of set in the first game. With Andromeda the writers have the ability to design new species, new worlds, new physics and they could flesh out where the Kett came from, are there more out there, do they have different sects, how many other sentient species are out there, who killed Garson, is Cerberus in Andromeda? There are a lot of places they can go... if EA lets them.
I honestly enjoyed Mass Effect Andromeda too. It may not be the best ME game but it was still pretty solid. They were forced to use a different engine and id say they did a good job making the game with what they had to use.

Plus I much prefer the Initiative continuing to deal with a few bad apples rather than another traitorous group within its ranks. It's a too used trope that often just falls flat these days. At most, such a group should be a small one of people who are misguided or greedy rather than this whole army that has tendrils all over the place. Though I would argue there is pretty much confirmation there are more Kett out there. If you listen to the audio logs, the leader you're fighting is being reproached for basically going rogue. I agree that a rushed development hurt it. I'd also argue the constant environmental hazards hurt it as well. I get the intent, but it went on a little too long for my taste, and a couple of the hazards NEVER went away. Also, and maybe it's just me, but it's high time we got some version of the Mako back. I don't mean a buggy you drive around in. I mean a buggy you drive around in that can fight. (Though I'm one of like ten people who actually liked fighting in the Mako.)

As for Cerberus being in Andromeda, I think there were data logs referencing them as possibly being behind Garson's murder, not to mention Cora having the same last name as T.I.M. plus Cerberus involvement in Biotic experimentation. There was also The Firefighters (part of Project Overlord) that tried to blow up SAM, and the two scientists performing illegal experiments with a neural device on Asari, Krogan, and Solarians that were 'ex' Cerberus scientists. Alec Ryder has a model of the SR2 in his room, and as the public only found out about the SR2 when Shepard was arrested before ME3 and the Initiative set out before that, is another point. Alec also had a seeming friendship with Liara who also had semi-deep ties with Cerberus and the Lazarus Project. And why wouldn't Alec want contact with them about that to possibly find a cure/new body for his wife. I have no doubt that there is at least one sect of Cerberus in Andromeda, at worst a brainwashed Shepard clone. But after "fans" complained and threatened the team we won't get any sort of DLC to answer any of these questions. Heck, the fate of the Quarian Ark is even still up in the air despite the book. Maybe we will get an Andromeda 2... please, please, please.
I dont understand why people hate Resident Evil 6, it has the best controls, you get a great value, and the guns are great fun to shoot... Can't say that stuff about the ones before it.

I just have two cents about Shenmue 3, i do carry a bit of denial about it. However, it comes from a real love of the series since i was basically an infant, watching my brother play 2 on our neighbors xbox. I had no hope of the series ever finishing and 3 didn't change that, but 3 was something that i had wished for since i beat 2 in like 07 or something, and the only part of its gameplay that disappointed me was the combat. 1 and 2 feature a clunky but fun Virtua Fighter inspired combo system that was ripped from 3 in favor of something more accessible but worse in every way. 1 and 2 were never hard, you could button mash fights and still win pretty easy, but the added depth of learning how to perfect block and follow with a devestating move was awesome. that said, i never expected 3 to compete with more modern games in style and frankly, i didn't want it to be. i wanted shenmue 3 and for the most part, i think what i got was what i wanted. Dated, awkward, but charming and oddly well written. tldr: i was pretty satisfied with Shenmue 3 but i also would defend it against those that dont like it. I wanted Shenmue 3, now Yakuza 7: Shenmue 3 (yakuza is the series i perceive to be closest in style and substance)
The last of us 2 deserves to be on this list far more than MgsV, hell it deserves to be #1 since everyone is in denial thinking it's some kind of art statement instead of what it actually is: a poorly written revenge story with 2 dimensional characters, 0 character development and 50% of the game forcing you to play the antagonist (and then letting her go at the end despite her being a sociopath who travels across the country to torture the guy who saved her life to death, killing hundreds of members of the crew she lived with for years and punches infectious zombies to death despite not being immune)
@TooManyBrownies your right about the graphics but that's it bro, no factions mp, no character development, Ellie's character ruined, Joel killed, the plot is so poorly paced (flashbacks inside of flashbacks and constant character swapping) Abby gets more attention than the literal immune protagonist on the box and 2 is just filled with plotholes plot armor and the legit worst game ending save for like Kane and lynch. Realistically you would never leave the map to your base next to the people you killed (I get that Ellie's ptsd'd out by killing a pregnant woman but Tommy atleast should've told her and picked it up) #1 beats #2 any day of the week save for graphics and prone/jump

I largely agree with the components of this list that I have any experience with. I contend that Duke Nukem Forever wasn't an inherently bad game, though I will concede it was absolutely not worth waiting so many years for. It was a generic FPS with Duke sprinkled on top, and that's not what anyone wanted. MGSV was a spectacular game with a grossly unsatisfying second half and an intensely disappointing ending. I fell in love with it fast...and fell out of love as I realized the game wasn't finished, not even close. When I heard the Fallout 76 announcement, my immediate reaction was "Oh, no." How anyone thought a Bethesda game without a story was going to be good, I'll never know. I have *hundreds* of hours on multiple playthroughs of Fallout 4, and I've been with Bethesda all the way back to Morrowind. And it's the story, the quests and the characters that make these games great; Fallout 76 was up front about having none of these things, and I had no hype for it. That it was ultimately the most rushed, glitchiest game from them yet was just bad icing on a terrible cake. Oh RE6. The game had its moments, to be fair, but it was effectively 3 unfulfilling Resident Evil games in one. Chris Redfield's part of the game was arguably the worst, feeling too much like Call of Duty with Zombies to be an enjoyable part of the weird story. Ada's aside segment, playing much like Separate Ways from 4, could have been done away with entirely if the whole bloody story wasn't tied to her for some stupid reason. Leon Kennedy's segment of the game felt good initially, but got weird fast. I felt pretty good about Jake and Sherry's adventure, with the Ustanak enemy reminding me of the Nemesis. That I played this part first may tint my perspective, but being largely removed from the overarching story and focusing on two characters I was interested in watching at least made it feel like the best part of RE6. And it made the rest of the game feel like an incredible disappointment. Capcom admitted that the game was produced by committee, and it shows.
Paper Mario: The Origami King. It still has the majority of the same problems fans have with Sticker Star and Color Splash, but some fans are in deep denial about this...
The only people who shouldn't have known what to expect from the Last Guardian are new comers, delivered exactly what I'd expected based on Ico before it. Developer's style is fairly consistent, even in Shadow of the Colossus, from a core standpoint, in the same lane, just so happens that the concept in which that core was placed was their masterpiece, making SotC their magnum opus.
Been keeping up with Anthem 2.0 development and you might be jumping the gun on it! Not advocating for either side, just stating the jury is still out on Anthem, wether or not if it can pull off a "No Man Sky" comeback Kid manuever 🤔
Ummm mgs 5 I don’t think should be here. Yes the game story wasn’t as good and it wasn’t finished but the game that they presented the gameplay was superb, it was praised and even got toe to toe with Witcher 3 for game of the year.
Coming from a long time MGS fan, I personally thought that MGS5 was the most disappointing game of the generation. I love the gameplay, but the story was absolute ass.

Shenmue fans aren't in denial I think we just go easier on it because of the budget and because it remains true to itself. There is some stuff that's annoying like the stamina thing and I don't think anyone held back complaining about that
I'll admit Fallout 76 is a "GREAT" game... but it isn't the "HORRIBLE" game it WAS. With Wastelanders it has gotten better, and they plan on adding the BoS, and more NPC factions and towns
10 multiplayer games that invoke fury and rage every time they are played. Also, I just changed my text message notification ringtone to Jules saying "Shenmue"
God I really wish we’d get more MGSV story to round out the endings. I know that Quiet’s ending was completed...but I feel like I wanted more of her story after the game. I didn’t like her weird clothing design, but I liked her character.
thing is with anthem: it LOOKS gorgeous, it FEELS great, but as soon as those two thing have worn off its.... boring. An amazing way to fulfill a bit of mech suit combat, but just not what we hoped for or what was promised. Anthem 2.0 may be a thing, or may not, but all the disappointment aside I still have the happy memory of controlling a mech suit as it lifted off the ground in gorgeous fashion - so for all the hell the game deserves and has recieved, that memory will still live on. Hoping for a comeback, but who knows.
if i remember correctly Shenmue was stated to have been a 5 part saga when the first one was released for the dreamcast but as it took so damn long for part 3 i think us original fans might be long dead by the time the 5 part release lol

So, I'm going to admit right now that I absolutely adore Resident Evil 6. So much so that RE7, while a good game, just couldn't entertain me like that game could. I loved the over the top action, the cheesy dialogue and stories, and the gameplay was still very fun. What they could do is take the action movie qualities of RE4, 5, 6, and 3 Remake and repurpose them into a brand new franchise since RE seems dead set on being "scary" again. Please, Capcom, we need more goofy, over the top schlock in an industry trying to put more serious narratives.

What about GTA V & it's infamous Mt. Chilliad Mystery? That teaser Mural to the unfinished Single Player DLC was soo underwhelming & soo anti-climatic it was almost comical to find out that both T2 & R* literally deceived Leslie Benzies into taking a quick sabbatical vacation with his family just to perform a hostile takeover to fire him, scrap the SP DLC entirely & vultured it out to be sold separately online piece by piece throughout the years. It's actually now quite laughable that the entire Internet is *STILL TO THIS DAY* in a complete & utter state of Denial even while being fully aware that the games "Mystery Ending" will ever *TRULY* be completed.. [Then millions of voices on the Internet suddenly cried out in terror & was suddenly silenced] Ooo I must of struck a nerve there didn't i?.. 😒
Resi6 was and still is defended because it is how that saga had to end. It's what it was turning into since Resi4. For all the good that game did, it also ensured that the Wesker saga all but had to go that direction so it could finally finish and usher in Resi7 and ...wait, what's this, Village, which looks to be taking cues from Resi6 and becoming even more batshit insane and involves what appears to be witches, werewolves, and the supernatural and basically is as far from the core of old school Resi as 5 and 6 was....? Moral of the story is, nothing stays static in life, least of all video game franchises. Stagnation is death, and change must come to ensure renewal of what is good. Resi6 was and still is a good game because it was always going to be what it was, and lamenting it for its differences denies what it accomplished.
MGSV is really quite great tbh. And what there is of the story, it's very good. You have to kind of really accept what happened behind the scenes and like the story for what it is.
In defence of Duke Nukem, I always thought it was gonna be terrible. I also occasionally come back to it because hey, sometimes I feel like sitting down and enjoying myself a good old shitry game!
I actually like Andromeda, it is no where near as good as the original, but it is not a bad game. As a matter of fact, I am playing through it again now. It isn't a masterpiece by any stretch, but it isn't terrible either.

With Andromeda the writers have the ability to design new species, new worlds, new physics and they could flesh out where the Kett came from, are there more out there, do they have different sects, how many other sentient species are out there, who killed Garson, is Cerberus in Andromeda? There are a lot of places they can go... if EA lets them.
I honestly enjoyed Mass Effect Andromeda too. It may not be the best ME game but it was still pretty solid. They were forced to use a different engine and id say they did a good job making the game with what they had to use.

Plus I much prefer the Initiative continuing to deal with a few bad apples rather than another traitorous group within its ranks. It's a too used trope that often just falls flat these days. At most, such a group should be a small one of people who are misguided or greedy rather than this whole army that has tendrils all over the place.
Though I would argue there is pretty much confirmation there are more Kett out there. If you listen to the audio logs, the leader you're fighting is being reproached for basically going rogue. I agree that a rushed development hurt it. I'd also argue the constant environmental hazards hurt it as well. I get the intent, but it went on a little too long for my taste, and a couple of the hazards NEVER went away.
Also, and maybe it's just me, but it's high time we got some version of the Mako back. I don't mean a buggy you drive around in. I mean a buggy you drive around in that can fight. (Though I'm one of like ten people who actually liked fighting in the Mako.)

As for Cerberus being in Andromeda, I think there were data logs referencing them as possibly being behind Garson's murder, not to mention Cora having the same last name as T.I.M. plus Cerberus involvement in Biotic experimentation. There was also The Firefighters (part of Project Overlord) that tried to blow up SAM, and the two scientists performing illegal experiments with a neural device on Asari, Krogan, and Solarians that were 'ex' Cerberus scientists.
Alec Ryder has a model of the SR2 in his room, and as the public only found out about the SR2 when Shepard was arrested before ME3 and the Initiative set out before that, is another point. Alec also had a seeming friendship with Liara who also had semi-deep ties with Cerberus and the Lazarus Project. And why wouldn't Alec want contact with them about that to possibly find a cure/new body for his wife.
I have no doubt that there is at least one sect of Cerberus in Andromeda, at worst a brainwashed Shepard clone. But after "fans" complained and threatened the team we won't get any sort of DLC to answer any of these questions. Heck, the fate of the Quarian Ark is even still up in the air despite the book. Maybe we will get an Andromeda 2... please, please, please.
I dont understand why people hate Resident Evil 6, it has the best controls, you get a great value, and the guns are great fun to shoot... Can't say that stuff about the ones before it.

I just have two cents about Shenmue 3, i do carry a bit of denial about it. However, it comes from a real love of the series since i was basically an infant, watching my brother play 2 on our neighbors xbox. I had no hope of the series ever finishing and 3 didn't change that, but 3 was something that i had wished for since i beat 2 in like 07 or something, and the only part of its gameplay that disappointed me was the combat. 1 and 2 feature a clunky but fun Virtua Fighter inspired combo system that was ripped from 3 in favor of something more accessible but worse in every way. 1 and 2 were never hard, you could button mash fights and still win pretty easy, but the added depth of learning how to perfect block and follow with a devestating move was awesome. that said, i never expected 3 to compete with more modern games in style and frankly, i didn't want it to be. i wanted shenmue 3 and for the most part, i think what i got was what i wanted. Dated, awkward, but charming and oddly well written.
tldr: i was pretty satisfied with Shenmue 3 but i also would defend it against those that dont like it. I wanted Shenmue 3, now Yakuza 7: Shenmue 3 (yakuza is the series i perceive to be closest in style and substance)
The last of us 2 deserves to be on this list far more than MgsV, hell it deserves to be #1 since everyone is in denial thinking it's some kind of art statement instead of what it actually is: a poorly written revenge story with 2 dimensional characters, 0 character development and 50% of the game forcing you to play the antagonist (and then letting her go at the end despite her being a sociopath who travels across the country to torture the guy who saved her life to death, killing hundreds of members of the crew she lived with for years and punches infectious zombies to death despite not being immune)
@TooManyBrownies your right about the graphics but that's it bro, no factions mp, no character development, Ellie's character ruined, Joel killed, the plot is so poorly paced (flashbacks inside of flashbacks and constant character swapping) Abby gets more attention than the literal immune protagonist on the box and 2 is just filled with plotholes plot armor and the legit worst game ending save for like Kane and lynch. Realistically you would never leave the map to your base next to the people you killed (I get that Ellie's ptsd'd out by killing a pregnant woman but Tommy atleast should've told her and picked it up) #1 beats #2 any day of the week save for graphics and prone/jump

I largely agree with the components of this list that I have any experience with.
I contend that Duke Nukem Forever wasn't an inherently bad game, though I will concede it was absolutely not worth waiting so many years for. It was a generic FPS with Duke sprinkled on top, and that's not what anyone wanted.
MGSV was a spectacular game with a grossly unsatisfying second half and an intensely disappointing ending. I fell in love with it fast...and fell out of love as I realized the game wasn't finished, not even close.
When I heard the Fallout 76 announcement, my immediate reaction was "Oh, no." How anyone thought a Bethesda game without a story was going to be good, I'll never know. I have *hundreds* of hours on multiple playthroughs of Fallout 4, and I've been with Bethesda all the way back to Morrowind. And it's the story, the quests and the characters that make these games great; Fallout 76 was up front about having none of these things, and I had no hype for it. That it was ultimately the most rushed, glitchiest game from them yet was just bad icing on a terrible cake.
Oh RE6. The game had its moments, to be fair, but it was effectively 3 unfulfilling Resident Evil games in one. Chris Redfield's part of the game was arguably the worst, feeling too much like Call of Duty with Zombies to be an enjoyable part of the weird story. Ada's aside segment, playing much like Separate Ways from 4, could have been done away with entirely if the whole bloody story wasn't tied to her for some stupid reason. Leon Kennedy's segment of the game felt good initially, but got weird fast. I felt pretty good about Jake and Sherry's adventure, with the Ustanak enemy reminding me of the Nemesis. That I played this part first may tint my perspective, but being largely removed from the overarching story and focusing on two characters I was interested in watching at least made it feel like the best part of RE6. And it made the rest of the game feel like an incredible disappointment. Capcom admitted that the game was produced by committee, and it shows.
Paper Mario: The Origami King. It still has the majority of the same problems fans have with Sticker Star and Color Splash, but some fans are in deep denial about this...

The only people who shouldn't have known what to expect from the Last Guardian are new comers, delivered exactly what I'd expected based on Ico before it. Developer's style is fairly consistent, even in Shadow of the Colossus, from a core standpoint, in the same lane, just so happens that the concept in which that core was placed was their masterpiece, making SotC their magnum opus.
Absolutely shocked The Last of Us Part II isn't on here, then again it is 2020 GOTY 1🏆🥂
LOVED The Last Guardian, but that last level is an absolute nightmare to get through. Worth it for the story though

Ummm mgs 5 I don’t think should be here. Yes the game story wasn’t as good and it wasn’t finished but the game that they presented the gameplay was superb, it was praised and even got toe to toe with Witcher 3 for game of the year.
Coming from a long time MGS fan, I personally thought that MGS5 was the most disappointing game of the generation. I love the gameplay, but the story was absolute ass.

Shenmue fans aren't in denial I think we just go easier on it because of the budget and because it remains true to itself. There is some stuff that's annoying like the stamina thing and I don't think anyone held back complaining about that
I'll admit Fallout 76 is a "GREAT" game... but it isn't the "HORRIBLE" game it WAS.
With Wastelanders it has gotten better, and they plan on adding the BoS, and more NPC factions and towns

God I really wish we’d get more MGSV story to round out the endings. I know that Quiet’s ending was completed...but I feel like I wanted more of her story after the game. I didn’t like her weird clothing design, but I liked her character.
thing is with anthem: it LOOKS gorgeous, it FEELS great, but as soon as those two thing have worn off its.... boring. An amazing way to fulfill a bit of mech suit combat, but just not what we hoped for or what was promised.
Anthem 2.0 may be a thing, or may not, but all the disappointment aside I still have the happy memory of controlling a mech suit as it lifted off the ground in gorgeous fashion - so for all the hell the game deserves and has recieved, that memory will still live on. Hoping for a comeback, but who knows.

if i remember correctly Shenmue was stated to have been a 5 part saga when the first one was released for the dreamcast but as it took so damn long for part 3 i think us original fans might be long dead by the time the 5 part release lol

Im not gonna lie, i had a blast playing through resi 6 on easy mode. Really felt like a popcorn blockbuster action movie
So, I'm going to admit right now that I absolutely adore Resident Evil 6. So much so that RE7, while a good game, just couldn't entertain me like that game could. I loved the over the top action, the cheesy dialogue and stories, and the gameplay was still very fun. What they could do is take the action movie qualities of RE4, 5, 6, and 3 Remake and repurpose them into a brand new franchise since RE seems dead set on being "scary" again. Please, Capcom, we need more goofy, over the top schlock in an industry trying to put more serious narratives.
I would also add that the mgs 5 level design is extremely lackluster. As Jim Sterling would say, "Big Empty Sandbox".

What about GTA V & it's infamous Mt. Chilliad Mystery? That teaser Mural to the unfinished Single Player DLC was soo underwhelming & soo anti-climatic it was almost comical to find out that both T2 & R* literally deceived Leslie Benzies into taking a quick sabbatical vacation with his family just to perform a hostile takeover to fire him, scrap the SP DLC entirely & vultured it out to be sold separately online piece by piece throughout the years. It's actually now quite laughable that the entire Internet is *STILL TO THIS DAY* in a complete & utter state of Denial even while being fully aware that the games "Mystery Ending" will ever *TRULY* be completed.. [Then millions of voices on the Internet suddenly cried out in terror & was suddenly silenced] Ooo I must of struck a nerve there didn't i?.. 😒

Resi6 was and still is defended because it is how that saga had to end. It's what it was turning into since Resi4. For all the good that game did, it also ensured that the Wesker saga all but had to go that direction so it could finally finish and usher in Resi7 and ...wait, what's this, Village, which looks to be taking cues from Resi6 and becoming even more batshit insane and involves what appears to be witches, werewolves, and the supernatural and basically is as far from the core of old school Resi as 5 and 6 was....?
Moral of the story is, nothing stays static in life, least of all video game franchises. Stagnation is death, and change must come to ensure renewal of what is good. Resi6 was and still is a good game because it was always going to be what it was, and lamenting it for its differences denies what it accomplished.
MGSV is really quite great tbh. And what there is of the story, it's very good. You have to kind of really accept what happened behind the scenes and like the story for what it is.

I actually like Andromeda, it is no where near as good as the original, but it is not a bad game. As a matter of fact, I am playing through it again now. It isn't a masterpiece by any stretch, but it isn't terrible either.
Does it count as denial that i still think watch dogs legion is a good game when its actually functioning for more than 20 minutes?
