The pharmacy sold me the two viles for the other strips... I have the Neo Premium whch looks like I should have bought the Medi solutions you use here??? I am using the 14 day reader.
I did not get a sheet of info with my Keto test strips so there a way to look up online by Lot # the range it should fall into when testing the meter? It's a Precision Xtra with Medisense testing solution and Keto strips. thanks!
I started using Freestyle Precision Neo for the 1st time. During the 1st day my fasting glucose was 93 mg/dl, later before 1st meal it was 98 mg/dl and after 1st meal 94 mg/dl (1.5 hrs after meal). Results seem a bit strange - I expected glucose to spike after meal. In the evening of the prior day glucose was 97.5 mg/dl (2.5 hrs after meal). All results are suspiciously close - 93-98 mg/dl. I have a brand new glucometer used it for just 1 day. Should I take a control solution test to check if glucometer is ok?
what if the readings go beyond the range ? Does that mean the reader is faulty and do we need to buy new reader ? I was under impression that these control strips calibrate and make them give proper readings afterbwe apply the solution
There is NO LEFT hand button on my Freestyle Libre... Why is there so much bullshit and variation with this stuff?? Do srips calibrate or just indicate??
Seems that the acceptable range for test results is so broad as to be practically meaningless. 68-124? 68 would be considered "low" and 124 would be "high".
This doesn't help my case whatsoever. The Control solution they sent me says neither high nor low on it. It says "normal" and I have no idea what that means. Nor do I know how to test this accurately with only one range. I find this product has the worst patient support I have ever experienced in my entire life.
When he checks the hi solution at 5:16 the instructions state a low, mid, and hi. Maybe yours is the same as mid. Check and see if your numbers are within that and if so it must be it.
I need to see how to use the solutions to see if the meter is correct.
What control strips are used for the freestyle libre 14 day reader?
Thank you so much. Finally somebody to explain this in laymen terms.
why did you use the Hi/Lo tests & not the Normal solution. I'm confused about what solution to order.

How come Walgreens cvs doesn't carry this solution in house... it's super annoying when you can't buy it anywhere
Can bhba and glucose can be tested same time with this mechine
Does the medisense control solution come with test strips? If not what test strips should be used for a Freestyle Libre meter? Thanks.
No, the test strips are sold separately. The Freestyle Precision Neo test strips work with the Libre reader.
What strip should I use for a freestyle Libre 2
Freestyle Precision Neo strips
Do the strips come with the control solution?
No, it is sold separately.
Can neo glucometer give bad readings with time ? Do those tests calibrate the machine , or are they just indicative ? Thanks for the video !
my question too and nobody is answering.

Did you buy a new one?
Is the point of this just to see how actuate the strips and reader is?
Yes, that is the point of control solution.
How the change the batterys?

tangleshotgun Hey would you like me to send out a hi/lo solution to you?

perhaps they mean normal range between 70 and 110 mg. it seems huge...
