Its was very helpful
one of the best running shoes I ever purchases was an affordable "cheap" pair of Asics from Academy Sports. I've tried the more expensive Asics line but the fit and feel didn't feel right. Also, I much prefer these more affordable lines which have nice and simple designs/color schemes. Now waiting for my brand new Contend 7! Thanks for your review

I have these, coworker got them for me for Xmas. How would you rate these compared to Cumulus 23? I must admit I thought I would like cumulus 23 and it’s smooth indeed, but I feel like my Achilles are more sore after running in them compared to when I run with new balance 1080
while at work, I am on my feet for 12 hours. Would this Asics model be good for walking standing?

Great shoe and especially a very nice color scheme..
Just bought them recently, I'd say they're soo soft for me in a way that makes me expend more energy to go at a certain pace, but maybe I'm not taking it too easy when I use them. I did however run my first ever marathon in them and still have both my feet, so that must be nice !
Is the inner sole soft or hard ?
@@alzdsz I'd say it's pretty soft, my only issue with them is if you're an experienced runner you might find them too soft and do not give enough energy back when you up the speed.

Can u play volleyball on these?
The cushioning in these isn’t that great imo, but they’re perfect if you want a gym shoe for low-impact cardio. They offer good enough support without making me feel as though I’m “wasting” a higher-quality sneaker on indoor cardio

Both are different price contend higher than jolt so you should not compare

The front part of the shoe is too wide, and takes a bit of getting used to

They don´t bring removable insoles. A pretty bad feature..
They're glued lightly. You still could take them out without tearing anything
@@asmuni once u take off the ortholite sockliner insole do you straight go into the footbed ( and is it hard or soft once the insole is removed ) or is there some jelly extra cushioning under the insole
@@alzdsz i feel it is harder with insoles removed. No soft or jelly feeling whatsoever. Contrary to others, i think the gel contend 7 is quite firm for running. The gel is not noticeable at all. Anyway, it's a good thing because it forces you to adjust your gait so that the run will be less punishing. I think you'll end up as a more efficient runner with these. But remember to take it easy in the beginning.
@@asmuni I'm actually looking to purchasing a good shoe. Tried the Asics gel contend 7 and Asics gt 1000 10 but both started hurting the inside of my arch esp on the left foot.
I do have a peripheral neuropathy kinda issue in my left under foot.
I purchased the Salomon sonic 4 accerelate shoe now but it still hurts under the left underfoot esp when walking after that it just stops after a while. It's like a continuous pain that happens when I walk. I do walk a lot though. Hence on the hunt for a good shoe. Just trying new brands not the regulars like Nike rebook or Addidas. Comfort plus design and good looks is a priority for me.
@@alzdsz i also had a problem with my left foot inside arch. Had a few chiropractic adjustments and it worked but not permanently because the arch muscles was still lazy. So i trained progressively with less support and even it did hurt in the beginning, over time the pain went away. Btw, i am no medical expert. But from my own experience, if i do a lot of running & walking , just a few pair good shoes is not good enough. I think everybody needs good rest & nutrition to keep (or ease) the pain away from extensive running & walking. Even the best shoes (for you) cannot make up these two factors.
